China is said to be a cashless society but still they banned bitcoins in their country? How was that possible. But back to the topic yes more or less the country or should I say the world is now in the phase that the people are getting ready on a cashless society because internet is very easy to have so the life is very convenient. We can now buy things but the use of the internet connection and a credic card which is also a digital money. But it is much better to see cryptocurrency as a part of our society and as our main currency

Digital money has become very useful because they improve discipline in financial management, because all transactions have been recorded, you can monitor it and see how much you spent on something.

The elimination of cash is currently is not feasible. not everyone has (or can have) a bank account, a credit/debit card or access to electronic payment systems via a smartphone or computers. people cannot be forced to have or use these tools. Access to a debit/credit card might be denied to persons not deemed creditworthy. in addition, an economy entirely based on electronic payments is subject to disruption, including cyberattacks.

In my opinion, in the future everyone will use and pay with electronic money, just as you said, then China is gradually adopting electronic money to pay. in chnia there are so many way to pay something susing digigtal currencies, and as i know the popular one is the wechat pay, in that country we just scan the QR and send amount that we want to send and in a second our money transffered into the seller, it more be great because almost all of the stores in china using this payment system

Here in USA, its the same thing! We only use Credit and Debit card for the most part. It easy, safe for customers, if the card get stolen or lost you can quickly freeze that account. I like the transition from regular paper (fiat) currencies to digital currency, including Bitcions and other cryptocurrencies. But the decentralized nature of the latter prevents it from controlled by a centralized entity like a central bank and/or a government. I believe this has attracted more flak from governments around the world on the concept of cryptocurrencies going main stream. That being said, I believe in the near future all these negativity towards cryptocurrencies would change and it will be used by everyone around the world!

It will take a lot before a country becomes cashless society. Iliterate people and the elderlies would find difficulty adapting with new technologies which could be a deciding factor before the government approve with this new system.

The idea is good as we might save trees for not printing fiat money but a lot will have to adjust in adapting to this new system.

Most of the people who own a bank account have debit/credit card and thats why most of the people are dependent on the card thats the reason most of the people often use cash. Almost all of the establishment are accepting credit or debit card through their payment.

People are still skeptical about bitcoin because it is not that easy for them since they always want to be spoon feed and they don't want to try it by themselves. Not just the bitcoin itself but the whole cryptocurrency industry is bringing a great innovation for paying bills using digital aspects. Here in our country we often use cryptocurrency or digital money for buying online products, buying bills with just a slide and click from mobile phone and even buying/ paying foods at a restaurant and fastfood chains.

That was amazing country. They don't use fiat money but they use digital money, so that they are avoid from the snatcher. Because if a people always withdraw money in atm, and there is someone who always see him, maybe that someone will do bad things to him. But if that people use digital money, no one will know that he have a large money or he is a bitcoiner. He is safe from the snatcher, holdupper, or bad people. Be wise in using your digital money or crypto currency.

Yes it is indeed happening already in china lead by the famous and one of the richest people in the world Mr. Jack Ma the founder of Alibaba group and company. Actually Philippines is being offered also with these system that will use digital money to ease and give the comfort on doing transactions. Well this could be a very good form of system that will give some time for the developing countries to showcase the potential to improve.

When I was in the states I was shocked that no one can gove you change with your $20 bill, so most developed countries made a step forward cashless society long time ago. But mkst oart of countries are not ready for cashless transactions only, so I think cash will be around us for decades

In Indonesia, digital money is welcomed by the public. While not everyone in our country understands the world of cryptography, many lay people and middle-class entrepreneurs use bitcoin as a means of payment. Most of our people buy bitcoin through ATM, they do not use bitcoin as an investment tool but as a means of payment, as well as money transfer.
Although its use is still uneven, I think it's a lot better than people who buy bitcoin just to make a profit.
