"genproclimit" : -1   means that you mine with all available cores
"hashespersec" : 1633 and this is your hashrate. Its quite typical i think. Although still much better than mine that was around 800

But I am wondering about the hashrates I get on Digital Ocean.
One the 8-core machines I got anything between 1400 and 4600 hashespersec. There is a bit of fluctuation, but on the average, some droplets are by a factor of 2-3 faster than others.

Any explanation for this? Are the cores also virtual, so it depending on a bit of luck, what CPU performance you get?

Any a bit disappointing: only 4000 hashes/sec on a 20 core machine. Any idea why this might happen? Thanks.

My 5 VPS havent found a block for like 1 hour now so yes diff is really up. But i will continue solo mining for at least 8 hours more. I am going to sleep in a while and i will decide what i will do later...Hopefully a pool will be out

write     vertcoind stop   in order to stop it.


Then if you cant connect add more addnodes. Those worked fine for me. just add more addnodes by copy pasting the cd........conf thing with more addnodes and pressing enter. Than start again with        vertcoind --daemon

I'm trying to figure out how to stop the daemon so I can restart it, I did everything as directed but it looks like I'm hashing without being connected to the network?  I'm hashing, but there is zero blocks and the different is than my local pc.

just copy paste all of it from cd to .conf and then press enter. If you want you cant change password but it doesnt matter really...
