Do I quit my Job for Bitcointalk? (This is running through my mind)

My Job pays less that $300 a Month.

I am in a serious dilemma.

I need some motivating advice on what to do.
Even though there are signature campaigns that pay more than your job, I still wouldn't advise you of doing that. First of all, it will take you quite some time to actually achieve the rank needed to earn that kind of money (read 1+ year). 2nd, you never know what future brings and signature campaigns might be completele reomoved, or traffic on this forum might drop so much that it won't be interesting to advertisers anymore.

What I would suggest you to do is to edcuate yourself, learn new skills that will open you to a possibility of a better job, while being active on this forum so maybe one day you can earn some extra money from it.

With only 11 activities and one merit since I joined bitcointalk in January, 2023, I am currently faced with the dilemma on focusing on bitcointalk in other to learn/earn, but my current job is so exhausting that it takes virtually all my time.

Bitcointalk is the in-thing, but it requires time and efforts to grow and my Job do not give me enough time. My Job is more like 24hrs Job were I can be called to duty when I am resting/sleeping.

What actually is your job here in Bitcointalk I checked your posts and you do not have a thread in the service section offering your service, but you are a good poster are you targeting to be a signature campaign participant, signature campaign, is a good sideline but do it out of passion not because you want it to be your main job, although you can.

Don't leave your job yet if it is a stable job that pays you continuously just allocate an hour or 2, that amount of time is enough to post constructively, but do it out of passion and don't force a living out of it, when you reach a level that you are qualified to a signature campaign that's the time to think if it is worth leaving your current job.

It's too drastic and you're likely to drain your savings. I suggest to look for the middle ground aproach first.

I would say, why don't you try to find a better day job? one which doesn't take too much of your time so you can still upskill on the side?

I believe this post from Lucius should be the answer that you seek.
The forum should not be a place for making money, it should only be something that comes as an additional thing in the process of information exchange and discussion.

Op, on a more serious note, even if you manage to gain the 1000 merits needed for the legendary rank you still have to wait up to a year or two before you can attain the required activity another thing you should take note of is f there's no guarantee that this forum signature is going to last forever, and you depending solely on this forum as your source of living is a very risky thing too.

You should keep your job and create some time for you to learn a new digital skill, that way you can open a service thread here and also sign up on some other freelancing websites and get paid for your skills.

The question for me is, do you already know or learn something that you think Bitcointalk can generate income from. And I don't think Bitcointalk is the best option for generating your regular income other than having a regular job and salary from a company, and this forum is more suitable as an extra or side income because income is not always there.
It's best to think and reconsider before you make a decision and do research on this forum as a whole because you can still do both if you can find one that suits you and without compromise too, because having a steady job is very important, because it's your steady income that won't go away.

You can have your job and still create some post here it doesn't stops you from work rather you can as well utilize every single moment of your time to post here. Maybe you can talk things about your work here whether your services could be needed here who knows. Then lastly quiting your job doesn't guaranteed you start making money from this forum all less you have a service to offer, and you getting hired depends on the quality of your job in your service board otherwise I will advise do not quite but you can use your current job to take good care of yourself and that of your family.

So always utilize your spare time over here than quitting your job. Besides there's nothing to wary about merits, you are still new here and there are still time for you to learn and study the forum. So take time study here to know the rules and regulations before taking any necessary or unnecessary action that may affect your living.

However move this topic to meta board or beginner and help section Let's try our best to keep the forum as pure as snow to reduce the task from admin/mods.

It's not a good idea to leave ones job solely to focus on this forum or rather invest in bitcoin.

Investing in bitcoin should be something you keep as a side hustle that will yield on a long run.
Know that investing in crypto requires patience, know the dos and don't involve before investing.

Don't leave your current job please
