A gryphon is not a dinosaur  Angry

Actually ... In ancient days people dug up bones of a creature which had a beak like an eagle and a slightly crested skull, it had a body the size of a lion and four clawed legs. So they imagined it must be some sort of eagle-lion mix, and the gryphon was invented. We now know those bones belonged to the protoceratops, which probably did not have feathers, although many therapod dinosaurs did have feathers (that is the branch of dinosaurs containing raptors, tyrannosaurs and birds).

WOW, you know your stuff.  Smiley

bit low quality but an amazing documentary Cheesy

I told you it is a good documentary.  Smiley

In search for another interesting documentary now. Might post another thread later, once I find it.  Grin

Why am I a fool? I saw this interesting documentary so others can have a look. Did you even watched the documentary before you post?

You are asking if I watched a 105 minute video in the 20 minutes from when you posted the link?

You're a fool because you ignore what's around you and believe only what is told to you.

Because Science!

Quite possible, as they seem to be the subject of some thrilling romantic novels:

Poor impulse control.
I didn't watch the video ...

Technically the title of the thread is correct. "Dinosaur didn't die 65 millions years ago, they are still alive today" because, cladistically, birds are dinosaurs. According to modern science, the Tyrannosaurus is more closely related to any modern bird than to other well known dinosaurs such as the triceratops or the stegosaurus.

Interesting. I was about to make the same post, word for word. Get out of my head!

If you have time, I suggest you watch it. It is actually quite interesting. If you are into science, evolution, and earth.

I like earth. In fact I've been known to indulge in geophagy from time to time. What's in the video to tempt someone of my ... ah ... inclinations?

Isn't the general definition of "dinosaur" everything descended from the most-recent common ancestor of triceratops and sparrows?

Well:

Basically, yes.

Statement still false though. They are not 5000 years old, and i think they were creationists, so good luck explainng evolution to them.

Sorry, it has nothing to do with science, it's religious propaganda.

Funny video, Though the title is misleading making you think they have an actual proof like a living dinosaur or dragon being captured  Tongue .

Did you like the video? I like the say they were slowing telling you their theory, and around 100 minutes, then you realised this is a group of people who must be Christians trying to discredit, that Dinosaurs was around 65 millions ago. And try to sell us they were actually around 6000 years ago. Which is what the bible said. I did take it with a pinch of salt once it got to that part.

So many experts in different areas have concluded that Dinosaur has been around 65 millions ago. This is only less than 10 experts who happens to be Christians who try to justify the bible.  Smiley

Yes, and they are a particular type of Christians, the one who believes Earth is 10000 to 6000 years old, and the vast majority of Christians don't even believe that...

You wont be saying that when you're burning in hell  Grin.

Lol - why would I go to hell simply for not believing?

It's not logical that a god would give me intelligence then expect me not to use it.   Undecided

(Unless the god is a dick I guess, and enjoys torturing people.)
Wow, so you've clearly never read the old testament. He killed more people in the Bible than Auschwitz. In any other story, God would be a super-villain with the temper of a street thug on crack. Cheesy

Only humans could dream up such a monster. I think we weren’t made in god's image but god was made in ours.
