Sub $400 was just too good a gift and people are loading up.

Markets worldwide are nervous but it is times like these when fortunes are made, be greedy when others are fearful.

As for me your are not totally correct with your main post. Such times and the "dumps" of the price are not so good for who believe in the potential of bitcoin but for the speculators of it. They want these situations in order to have profit from these pumps and dumps. Who believe in bitcoin may do such actions (and have nothing in this) but don't buy only when the price go down but always. For the simple reason that the hoped normal price of bitcoin must be much, much higher. If believed in this, every day (and not only on these mentioned by you) is a good day to buy. Few and few in order to not create dependence and to not hurt the personal finances - but continuously - everyone who have such kind of hope buy bitcoin without seeing at all the price of the day in which buy. This kind of people are the true people of bitcoin. The gift of this people is not the price of these days of bitcoin but the known of it and of its potential.

Congratulations to the people who held or bought during the dip - you guys are going to make money because you have cojones.

this once again shows that you don't have to panic when the price is being smashed down. use it in your advantage to buy at the low prices, and benefit when the price goes up. like i do right now. i didn't expect it to return to $400 within a matter of hours. the price was just $378 a few hours back. i only hope we will stay above $400 now. the support at $400 is still weak, there is a chance of goinf slightly sub $400 again.

Clearly the MH/Cryptsy stuff had an effect but the drop was overdone. Smart money accumulated whilst the dumb money panicked and now has either lost dough or has to buy back at higher levels. And if anyone is shorting BTC they are going to get badly burned.

China has to devalue their currency another 20% in the near future - do you think all those 1bn+ Chinese people will not try to avoid their savings being slashed. Of course they will and the best way for them to do this is by either buying gold or bitcoin.

Exactly, it won't be long until bitcoin gets a pump again. The support at $400 was indeed weak, but it has stood there long enough.

I believe the next support should be around $500 and same thing will happen with that value, go back down to $480

Poor dip buyers... they keep on getting screwed over...
I wouldn't know about the poor ones, but us rich dip buyers keep on making out like bandits.

Seems like a great opportunity to buy if you ask me.

Buy now or cry later, we won't be sub 400 for too long.

Yes we are already back to 396.
If you wanna get sub 400 coins now is the time to buy.
I just saw we were down to 381 on stamp. Who bought at that price has done everything properly.

LOL!  Cheesy

That's for sure. Their piling up now to make profit but honestly very strange as I don't see any reason for this downward slope. It looks like a manipulation done by a whale group rather than other possible factors to me so they would make some profits.

It looks like manipulation but the 500 hit didn't? I'm not saying either were or were not, but if you can't see why this selloff happened, then you surely couldn't see why the rally happened either.

There is so much wrong with the mentality in this forum anymore. So much one-sided bias. Such absolute words like "can't", "won't" and "impossible" should be stricken from the vocabulary on this forum. We have seen things that were believed "impossible" happen so many times... Don't take it for granted, please

Hmm.

Last time I read one of your posts, you were laughing at me for exiting my long and going short (@$450).

Hmm....but even a stopped clock is right twice a day......maybe, just maybe, this is one of LFC_Bitcoin's 'stopped clock' moments?

pfft....

Show me the volume!

(the upside volume that is)

$360 range will see the 61.8% retrace of the whole rally....whole lotta shorters gonna exit their positions right there and a whole lot of n00b shorters gonna get their balls squeezed on that bounce, which will drive bounce even higher, which may even encourage some n00b bulls, to pile back in and drive the bounce yet higher.

You're the noob if you still use the word noob at your age.
