There is no payout issue. All winning bets are being paid out automatically and instantly as usual.
A few events are temporarily unavailable for betting due to an outage by our data providers - that's about it. Most events are available though.
So the people who betted on it when it was available have lost thier bitcoins?

I don't think there is Maintenance daily, it just happens for a few minutes every couple of days. It usually isn't down for a long time. I am sure with live betting feature they probably have a lot of maintenances to do.
