Yes, but I think its out of date and no one seems to know it anymore but older members. I hope it is alright if I do something like that one, so the community can get an updated version of that thread.
Let's try working with that one then, rather than throwing it away and starting from 0.If only old guys know about the thread, we can simply bump it regularly to keep it in the mind of people, I've also suggested to Mitchell to turn that thread into one of the stickies.
If it's outdated (what rarely should happen on a [General]/[Directory] thread, let us post threads we want to have added over there and wait for shorena to do so.
We really don't need to do double work when we can build on something as good as we already have.

Are you trying to create something like this[1]?
There'a a really nice collection of links for newbies already made by shorena, and it's way more complete than this one.
I gave the other thread a friendly bump, seems people have started to forget about it.

Good idea. I was wondering if this forum had some kind of dictionary. Thanks for having a directory where we could find things. This forum has so much clutter and there are alot of things that are hard to find here. Thanks OP!
Yeah, for me I had a hard time browsing the forum and scouring for answers for things I didn't yet understand. I found some and was not able to locate the rest of what I was searching for here. Hopefully, this thread should help newbies and other members find what they are looking for in the forums. I will continually update this thread with any new additions. I hope people help out filling this up.

Exactly! Thanks for helping out. I used the forum's search function and didn't try google's. Probably why it didn't show up.

I do think this is a good way also for newbies to find some information. So possibly I could maintain this thread like a directory if it will be of use to the community. Or someone could point me to a directory of this sort.
