Lol, you joined the cheapest, lowest (IMO worst offender for spam) on this forum and you got banned for spam. That's rough. You must have been posting absolute garbage. I see non-English posters that make little to no sense and they're still in the yobit sig campaign.

Lovely how you want sig campaigns banned now hahaha.

The only thing that makes someone bitter of something is that he was hurt by that something. In this case, you were kicked by YoBit signature campaign manager because of your spammy posts. And now your signature says "Signature campaigns are stupid." It's your fault that you were kicked. You didn't do your best. Looking at your post history makes me think that you're not even trying to post good posts. You were posting solely to achieve the 20 max posts per day of YoBit.

Sour grapes,  OP.  And how the hell does one get kicked off of Yobit's campaign?  You must have been guilty of some serious shitposting, and I can see why.  Your little rant is nearly impossible to understand because English isn't your strong suit.   I assume it's not your first language.

The change for Yobit to not allow Jr.members into the campaign did change the forum. The places I see a lot of spam are in the Marketplace. If that area no longer counted towards payment we would be able to stop accusing people of signature spam in that forum when they are trying to run a business. This would be a good change and it would also address the games and rounds posts that are really spammy.

Besides that raise all membership requirements to full member and it would cut it down that much more.
The jump from having signatures to no sigatures would be to big a jump and not totally necessary anyways.
With moving it to Full member you would see even more drop combined with the suggestions and the spammers become more obvious, due to lack of places to hide.

But this thread is really going sideways when the accusation is coming from a person that was kicked from a campaign recently.
In a short stint he opened up a scam accusation, loan request and now this garbage attack because he is emotionally hurt by being rejected.
If people really want to acknowledge the issue of spammers,we have a whole lot in meta that are legit vs. this one based out of anger.

Just a thought..

The are two problems with signature campaigns-

1. They have a minimum post count
This causes people to fell like they need to make posts even if they dont have anything constructive to say,
just to meet the minimum.

2. They pay you per post.
This causes people to start worthless topics, post worthless replies, spam multiple times in a single topic,
anything to increase their post count and earn a couple extra cents.

Honestly, I would be fine with banning any signature campaign that pays people per post.
A really good company would care who has their signature and what they do for the community, not how many posts they make each week.

Nothing personal Smooth, was just thinking of the Fitness thread and was wondering how it was going, really only reason I posted! Shocked Kidding..

Different person.

On the topic of signature campaigns, I was mainly pointing out that not just showing the sigs is not a valid solution if one views signature campaigns as a problem. Reasonable people can disagree on the premise for sure though.

I not agreeing with the OP  Angry
Ninja edit: This kind of poster we can obviously do without in the future and if thats spam to you,it is to me as well! Smiley

If you dislike signature campaigns you can just disable signatures in the settings?

That's not sufficient. The problem is that sig campaign members are incentivized both directly and indirectly on the basis of posting volume so the result is a lot of low quality posts.

I really don't understand why the forum allows it based on the fact that it both degrades the value of the forum and competes with the forum's own ads.

So what?

You mean to tell me that bitcoin projects run out of this forum do not benefit from having signatures floating around reading their threads. Hell they may even invest in something with those bitcoins!

There are two issues for me on the signatures and the first one is that they get blamed for all the blights of the forum and for sure they are a issue but there is more to it than just blaming signatures and washing our hands.
Take a look into a lot of the members that will bring a thread off topic just to point out a person has a signature and therefore it needs to be pointed out! Its insane that members are allowed to hijack threads like that but its the vogue of the moment and mods jump on it as well, maybe just Lauda.

The second part is getting better managers of these signatures,I have reported clear spam in the past and got no response back which is fine. Those members do not get kicked, which is a bit of the issue, when it is so clearly spam.
Implementing stricter guidelines would help address the issue and it will stifle these accounts that are also farming them to sell later.

Think leading by example does a part of the job because the spammers are not able to get away with half ass posts when they see every one else has written paragraphs. Their three word responses will stick out like a needle and will get plucked easier.

I just checked a couple of posts* on random pages, and the posts look genuine.

Yobit campaign have the worst ever policy of judging constructiveness by length.
Given that they have barred you from participating in their campaign, just move on. Find another one if you like. Threads like this only make things look worse.

*the ones that are still there if some were deleted. The rest especially the character policy comment holds.

What is a bit tricky about his posts are that he was echoing or repeating what had already been said.
He also created threads that had also been started earlier,so it was mostly just creating more static than actual thought provoking threads.
Thought the same at first but I took a closer look and addressed it in his accusation thread.

Scam Accusation:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14915428
Loan Request:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14921492

So I believe you deleted some posts in the Yobit thread but will have to look into that.

After being kicked you proceed to open a allegation of scam against Yobit and people point out you had it coming.
Which you respond with a understandable response that you understand and it looked like you where moving on.
But you then open the loan thread and it looked to me like a account dump and hopefully no one filled that loan for that reason if they did their due diligence they would know.
So now the full on hate for signatures when you where full on Yobit not even a week ago. Do you not understand how these emotional tantrums make you appear on this forum?

Just because you are banned from a signature campaign you want all other members to stop having signature campaigns ?
Come on, don't blame others for your mistakes.
You spammed, got banned from Yobit, deal with it, don't impose on others what they should do.

I've seen a lot of members spam this forum with signature campaigns. I was posting original content, but never reached the essay that most sig campaigners demand. It's also an opportunity to grow as their shitty members want. there should be a fair and balanced team keeping these spammers off the forum. Ypbit accused me indirectly of spamming the forum.

Yobit accused you and you got banned from their campaign, just because of this you are jealous of those who are on signature campaign,so you don't want anymore signature campaign..We call this bitterness  go take  vitamin c to ease up the pain on your chest..

Try your luck to some other campaign and improve your post from now on. if you got kicked agaoin then. Signature campaigns aren't for you. LOL just stick with your design skills tom, you're good at it and you should make use of it instead.

Hey there! If you dislike signature campaigns you can just disable signatures in the settings? There's also a script that can block the sigs I heard.

I personally don't have any issues with sigs =)
