website needs to be more professional look..

Website is fine...as long as it loads fast, that should be priority for now.

I don't think there are professional web developers who can make it look nice....but if someone capable wants to contribute , please post.

Instead of suggesting what needs to be done...if you know someone, get them to contact me or sandman

I don't know what that means, but thanks for that...I'll add that into the FAQ/Issues section.

also remember to vote for XCT on novaexchange

Sorry. It was just to indicate what the wallet was answering as a help about default values (conf file, ports, etc).  Smiley

(Maybe on Windows in command line, the "--help" parameter will work too. )

Linux wallet (daemon) works fine.

thanks for verifying linux wallet working fine...

Kemp is working on getting OS wallet to compile.

I am considering to rent some rigs but i have no working wallet.

The wallet what i downloaded in the ann does not have active connections.

Try adding this to your cbit.conf

addnode=138.201.65.88
addnode=37.187.88.140
addnode=151.80.42.180
addnode=95.94.112.172
addnode=24.247.103.100

just to clarify...it's c-bits.conf  (with a dash).  not cbits.conf

./cbit-cli --help | grep default
       Specify configuration file (default: c-bit.conf)
       Send commands to node running on (default: 127.0.0.1)
       Connect to JSON-RPC on (default: 8288 or testnet: 18288)
       Timeout during HTTP requests (default: 900)

I just added a link on the web http://xct-cbits.com/ to download the cbits conf file.
This will add working nodes
All you have to do is
user
appdata
roming
c-bit folder
put file in folder

There is a big problem with the difficulty  (check the blockexplorer):

11112454680.2571112454680.257etc
6.83M/sec6.83M/sec6.83M/sec81T/sec6.83M/sec6.83M/sec81T/secetc

Really not friendly to mine!  Undecided

yep, there is definitely more competition for mining now....difficulty switches between 1 and 12454680.257.

and I can only assume it will get harder to mine if the price of the coin increases.

I'm still mining, but I noticed my share has decreased, and longer to get a payout.
