Honesty, both are good and effective in the long run "only if" you managed it properly along the way like the usual approach in any kinds of investment.

This might sounds hassle to you but you won't know the result by any of your chosen strategies until you will not engage in the actual investment you preferred. You can use a small amount for a test.

And since you are pointing about putting money on crypto, I suggest sticking first on BTCTC for the moment until you gained some knowledge dealing with other altcoins. No need to rush. You will soon deal on altcoins but not for now. Take time studying all the associated risks as putting money on crypto is not as easy as anyone thinks.

If you split your money across multiple cryptocurrencies your risk actually goes A LOT higher. Investing in bitcoin itself is risky due to the volatility, investing in coins/tokens that has a high percentage of failure just increases that risk unnecessarily.

If you want real diversification, allocate some of the money on stocks/bonds/ETFs and stuff. In the first place, do your own research. You probably wouldn't be asking that question if you knew what certain coins do and what they're for in the first place.

Hi all, I'm new to Crypto market, would like to ask for the newbie is better to have diversified investment (Ex : 1000 invest to 5 coin , 200 each )  or concentrated investment (1000 invest to 1 coin only ) ? Because I'm thinking that if i split the budget to multiple coin, risk might be low.  Huh
