What is the difference between DNotes and DigitalNote ? both appear as (NOTE) on coinmarketcap
DNotes launched in February 2014, Digital Note launched in late May, 2014 under the name DuckNote. The key difference about DNotes (NOTE) is that we have a man at the helm who has 40 years business experience and a proven track record in the tech sector. Digital Note (XDN) was formerly known as DarkNote and DuckNote.
This strong leadership has helped foster our community into a working, functioning member of the industry. Rather than a bunch of people attacking each other, and shouting out ideas to the developver, we work together and support each others ideas. DNotes has been solving the problems our whole industry faces, they haven't simply been pushing their coin on people in hopes of replacing Bitcoin; We think it's good for the industry if altcoins work together to find common solutions.
The commitment Dnotes' developer has made to the coin is astounding, he has spent over 1300 hours on Bitcointalk alone!
Here are some features/services that define DNotes:
-DNotesvault.com online coin storage service that signs all transactions using an off line process. All coins deposited on DNotesVault are backed by a guarantee fund, meaning if your coins are stolen due to security breach, you will be reimbursed. Anyone who holds DNotes will also be part owner of DNotesVault and other businesses in the future.
-Timed send smart contracts
-High interest retirement saving account (not POS). This money was donated, to encourage strong saving habits.
-Employee benefit program
-Savings plan for students
-Project after project designed to get DNotes in the hands of the people, and make is easier for them to use
-Many ways to earn DNotes, if you have good ideas or skills that help DNotes, you will be rewarded
-DNotes has presented at the NASDAQ market site
If you want more info, the DNotes announcement thread is usually full of it. I'd recommend reading it by most recent pages first
