In my country "Yes"
bitcoin is accepted currency. there is not any law for bitcoin in my country. so everyone can use it and trade it by behalf of himself. I know lots of people who using bitcoin online.

I can use bitcoin to buy sell, to pay my bill, to top up my mobile phone. and I can save bitcoin and do anything I want. I think these are enough benefits someone could need or hope for bitcoin.

lots of country like Bangladesh and other have Banned Bitcoin officially and everyone caught using bitcoin will get in jail.

no law means not being legalized as a currency,it's still between illegal and legal, although they'll soon regulating it when someting big happenning relating to bitcoin in your country, but you can't say it was accepted as a currency

There are several companies as merchants working with bitcoin, but just online, on the real life there are some developers companies accepting bitcoin as payment, in your situation  i would try to sell the coins and use the fiat otherwise save and hold your coins, one day people will use bitcoin more then today.

Yeah same here. We can use bitcoins to buy online products here in the Philippines. But I can not say that bitcoins are generally accepted here in our country since I can not use bitcoins in buying my groceries, payment in coffee shops and buying things that I want in personal. But the use of bitcoins here are not forbidden it is just that it is not that popular yet here in our country that is why establishments are  not yet accepting them as mode of of payments. I hope sooner or later, they will.

My country not accepted bitcoin as a currency. Our country bitcoin foundation chairman are working on it.he is trying to contract our government hope near future bitcoin will accepted in our country. Now from my country very hard to use bitcoin we could not find any reliable source where we can buy or sell our bitcoin which we earn from online outsourcing.

I hope your country can begin to adopt bitcoin. better buy bitcoin on the international market that are available today for example with yobit.net, with dollar deposits into your yobit account you can already buy bitcoin easily. I hope this helps.

I don't want to sit around waiting 10-30 minutes for a confirmation on a coffee that takes 1-3 minutes.
Well, the confirmation always becomes a problem for a lot of people, but you're right bitcoin it's not suitable to apply to the real life if they still having a trouble with the confirmation.

For small payments local stores don't make a problem of giving you your ordered products/drinks without any confirmations. They mostly use BitPay to handle all their Bitcoin related payments. BitPay analizes your payment and from there it calculates the risk of you double spending your coins. If you includede a normal market fee, then they will accept it without any confirmations. If you add a very low fee, or no fee at all, then it will require you to get at least 1 confirmation.

Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh

In Australia, bitcoin is slowly becoming popular with more and more shops accepting it. Although bitcoin is mostly used in online transactions espectially on steam where you have Opskins and Bitskins and people buying games/skins of people for bitcoin. Not much places accept bitcoin in real life, but bitcoin has become widely know in the virtual world.

Hello
Very few of the people in India know about BitCoin. Especially the people who are illiterate know nothing about it. Think this is why the popularity of BTC is low in India.

None of the local shops accept BTC

However Online retailers and Online E-Commerce markets are accepting BTC and we hope it becomes popular very soon.

What you are telling is a very long back story, i am also from india, and i have seen the growth of bitcoin users are more than 25% in india, and why illiterate but even lliterate persons are also not knowing about bitcoin and even after knowing it they are not accepting it as it is still no accepted by Indian Government.

But their are exchanges where you can buy and sell bitcoins and their are so many local users who are buying and selling bitcoins for local fiat currency. So i think India is also getting popular in using bitcoins but if the government gives some more clear details about using bitcoin then their will be very fast growth in the bitcoin users in India.

We have an exchanges were we can sell our bitcoins into our local currency, but it is not completely accepted by the store owners but internally many people are exchanging through exchanges only.BTC
I think it does not need too pushy for your country doing legalization bitcoin while you still can convert bitcoin into local currency. and you have the ease to convert and use it. I think the legalization of bitcoin is no longer in need anymore
Me, I would not dream that bitcoin will be legalized as it is hard to push that way, anyways, I am already contented with the current state of bitcoins, the price is beautiful and it could already attract users to use bitcoins without any limitation.

Yes here in my country you can spend in terms of bitcoin, coins.ph is big company here in philippines and it has more services to offer and more bank already tag in, and also some big hotels now accepting bitcoin as part of their mode of payment.

I also live in the Philippines, and using same exchange that you are using, but, I haven't tried using coins.ph to buy something online, specially if I have to make a bank transfer, the transfer is too slow, which might take more than 24 hours, that's a little off.. You can't buy on online shops instantly, except if you know online shops that directly accepts bitcoin..

Not many people accepting bitcoin here. The most popular job that I see accepting bitcoin are buskers. Bitcoin really isn't made to purchase things IRL. I don't want to sit around waiting 10-30 minutes for a confirmation on a coffee that takes 1-3 minutes.

Our country doesn't have official acceptance or opposition, right now government have not given much consideration to it as it have not made much impact on our country economy.
Which is a good thing in my opinion, because it allows for us to get a majority of our Bitcoin now, relatively free and mostly untaxed. Once the government steps in and starts to do things, then it'll be hardest to earn Bitcoin and a lot of things like signature campaigns might not be able to exist in the same capacity that they do now. I think we have one of the free-est Bitcoin economies right now, and I hope it stays this way, but it likely won't in the future. I guess things could happen, but I'd rather not have to wait and fine out.
