What you said is true , but if look universally, we can not say that all the bounty hunters are so. Some bounty hunters also do not accept doing this because of the fear of scams.
I think not all the bounty hunters understands more about the project, in fact most bounty hunters doesn't pay attention to the project, they are after the reward but there are some hunters that do bounty for a project that they have interest in.
They are only getting the tokens, but they are not investors. They have invested their own time and effort but not money. Bounty hunters can earn a lot of tokens exchange them into ETH or BTC and become an ICO investors.

There is no doubt that there are people out there who have become investors in a project after being bounty hunters for the same project. It does give them time to get to know the project better, they see the beast parts of it and once they are convinced that it is a project that is going to be successful then there is no doubt that they would invest in the project as long as they have the money to put into it

We should be. Because we only get rich in investing not by relying on efforts alone and pure luck of pump or atleast a legitimate project to go to an exchange. Directly or indirectly, bounty hunters are also investors. We all have different ways through which we invest. Some invest money, for some time, resources and so on. So, you should see yourself too as an investor.
I have also noticed that some people, despite being bounty hunters, still invest their money on the project they believe in.
if ico is promising and there is potential, why not buy tokens. Bounty hunters have enough knowledge to be ICO investors they can earn in both ways as long as they can hunt new ICO and joining airdrops that they hunt its not a problem to them.
I think bounty hunters invest the most expensive in different projects - time. So they are the same participants and investors of every ICO in which they took part. I think u will agree with me.
