Of course, they also gamble. It will be hard for casino owners to run a business that they aren't familiar with but for sure, but they don't gamble that much since they have other priorities to focus on. They can't grow their business and focus on developing it if they will just gamble all the time. They will surely use their time wisely. They can earn even without gambling all the time so it will not be their main priority.

Casino owners can gamble on the free time they have in their busy lives managing the casino. But I don't think they will play gambling for long because there will be a lot of work that they have to complete every day. And as casino owners, they have to make sure that they can benefit and that there is no time to rest just to gamble. Maybe they can stop gambling and choose to oversee their business and think about how their business can grow even more rapidly.

we cannot equate between food or the like with gambling. yes it is true that boredom will surely appear after we keep doing the same thing. but not for gambling.

Your illustrations are really very funny and realistic but you really can't compare gambling to the examples you gave because I haven't seen anyone who will boldly say his statisfied with the money he or she has because human quest and desires are unsatisfying so to answer your question, I think yes that betting platform owners gamble but I'm not certain if it's as much as the regular gambler.
I've seen someone who sells local dey gin and it seems that every morning the first thing he does is to take a glass shot of the local gin and at some point when I read this thread I felt the guy is an exception and I guess gambling depends on ones personal desires rather than what they own.

I don't know any specific casino owners so far, and I tend not to be too curious about what they do for their business, but it is very possible to find them gambling just for fun or for marketing purposes.

To be honest, I don't think it's important to think about it because basically the owner of tobacco company is also very likely non-smoker. Vice versa in the gambling industry, casino owners do not gamble for themselves but they ask some of their staff to gamble where the budget used is from the owner. This is marketing related, so the case may be very different.

Just as your example, I don't think that they do that much to gamble. They are there for the business and that's through getting profit from their customers which are the typical gamblers.

Their principle is more with the business and not with the actual gambling. They might gamble sometime but they're more focused into their operations instead of gambling through their platform.

I have talked with one back in the day, it was one of the earliest casinos in crypto, and the owner was just too busy to gamble. He was a big big time gambler, he spent hours and hours gambling everyday, and that is why he wanted to own a casino, and after he stopped gambling to build his casino, he had to work so much that, he didn't had time to watch tv, eat outside with friends, go to movies, see a play, nothing. He had to work as much as 20 hours a day sometimes, sometimes a bit less but 15 hours was a "nothing happened today" day for him.

So, if you are an owner like that, then you do not have time to gamble, but if you have time to gamble... well then you are doing something wrong.

Well, I don't think they have anything to lose if they gamble in their own casinos, so yea I think so. Ofc I don't think this applies to every owner, but I reckon most new owners would probably gamble a lot in their own casinos, but later on, would probably never touch it again, or maybe a bit but very rarely cause I think at that point, their assets would be pretty big already and they're either playing golf or doing some other type of hobby. As an owner of a casino business, I reckon they know themselves about the risk of touching it for a long time (especially in their case since they are the owner) so if I were them, I'd stay away after it has settled down.

The answer is maybe. The owners of casinos and sports betting platforms probably won't gamble as much as others because they want to profit. But it is also possible that a casino owner often gambles as a casual player in his own or other casinos. It just depends on the habits of the casino owners and if they are used to gambling, having their own casino can give them freedom when they can gamble. But I guess casino owners only occasionally gamble because they want to profit from their business.

I think, No, in most cases. Casino owners are too busy with their respective businesses to still insert gambling on their own.

Maybe in some cases like in any big events such as world cup events (sports betting) but not that truly addicted or can be considered a regular gambler. I know in any company, there's one who will be assigned as the operation manager but still, these owners are hands-on.

Not sure, maybe the owners only seriously bet on sports betting like their customers if they are sports fans, or bets that are not versus the house at all.
If the owner has experience on the gambling platform especially on the technical side, it is sure to simply test their own casino machines once in a while.

I believe every casino owner has been addicted to gambling at one time or another.

Obviously he stopped gambling (to have the money and be able to open the casino) or else he won a lot of money to be able to open his own casino.
What keeps a person in this business is the high profitability and I'm sure they play a lot less than many of their customers, but they still play.

However, it is kind of "strange" that they play in a casino, because either they will know that they will hardly win something or else they will know their own tricks very well, which would discourage them from continuing to play.

Yes, No and Maybe. There's no way we can determined if these casinos owners are really doing gambling.

Owning a casino and sports betting platform is a time consuming task and they have to make sure that everything is working properly.

We don't also have an accurate source we can rely on to know such stuffs so maybe a simple guess is all we can do.

They are in a gambling business they should know the in and out of the gambling business, they will not know these if they are not gamblers themselves, and I don't think they are going to play on their platform, what's the logic they can manipulate the results and even if they win it's not actually winning because it comes from their pocket it's pretty useless.
And like all the others here I don't think they will allow their staff or employees to play because it's unethical if they run into issues they will favor themselves since they are the ones running the casino if I were the owner I will not allow that, and all owners will do the same.

I think some gambling owners gamble but only to a certain extent. Remember that these people are business-minded and they are driven primarily for profit. If they try or at least attempt to gamble, they would put themselves at the situation of risking their profits given the nature of business they run in the process.

Though this may be the case, there are actually some gambling owners who gamble on their platform to check on how their website operates. I also know a few owners who gamble on different websites purely for comparison and to see on how they can improve their current platform.
