they only fast thing that can be used immediately without hassles, so with bitcoin, they don't want to download random client and learn about those nerd stuff, not the majority at least

simplicity is what can make girls use more bitcoin, i believe that more girls are using online wallet like average guy, instead of local wallet

of course girls use bitcoin same way as we do guys any gender could use bitcoin normally

The number of girls that are involved in the technology world is increasing,
And by default they will use digital payment method like bitcoin,
So why not, they are human too, and have the same(or more) rights than men!

The question is, why not? not that they can not. Everybody is able to use it. It is a universal medium.

Why girls cannot use bitcoin?

I would think girl(females in general) are not (as) interested in bitcoin as men are because there is risk involved (buying then value drops in a second) and thus being unstable. Woman from the beginning of time like to have stability in their lives and don't like the thought of any factors changing that.
In theory they want to make commitment that they don't know if it is a sure thing to bet on.
That is why they love diamonds and gold. A physical, sure bet that it's value will be relativity unchanged tomorrow. 

Question is: can we actually accurately map out gender demographics if bitcoin has such an anonymous, decentralized nature?

on my country, think just a little amount of girl using bitcoin,the only reason is they doesnt know bitcoin,and never care about internet payment. they just care about online shopping lol

Oh about the thread. Yes of course girls use bitcoin. Some of them use it for gambling. Just like the story. 

According to cryptocoinsnews any post by a woman here is instantly replied to with a barrage of sexist abuse. Cryptocoinsnews adds that the bitcoin community is 95% male.

I have seen posts by women here that were treated no worse than the posts made by men, and I have never witnessed barrages of sexist abuse at any posts made by women. In fact I found women tend to be treated with more respect than men on bitcointalk. I don't know how the researcher cryptocoinsnews quoted worked out that only 5% of the bitcoin community are women, I don't think it's possible to work out the true figure. This thread still hasn't conclusively proved any figures yet.

More and more girls use bitcoin.

I once met this girl at a bar, she had heard that I smoke with some of her friends so she starts talking to me and all flirty and asks if we should go smoke one at her place. I tell her, "sure, let's go a bit later though cause I'm here with some friends tonight.

Plans changed, I didn't see her the rest of the night cause I had to go help my friend get home after he had smoked way too much for his alcohol level. I texted her on fb the next day explaining how drunk my friend had gotten and she texted me back that the same bar will be open again in a couple of days, (this bar usually opens once every friday and sat, but due to it being newyear it was gonna be open on a wednesday instead). So I go to the party and she is there, we talk a bit when we are outside smoking. Not much really happened that night except for later when she asked if we should go smoke one this time, and at this point I have found out how young she really is, and her not knowing my age, just who's brother I am and friends with, I start to think I may have misread shit and she actually just wants to smoke weed for getting high. So I keep it cool and tell her that I actually don't have any on me today, (even though I did, I had 2 J's in a holder), her reply was "Ahh well, that's okay we can figure something out" I was like, alright let's go.

We get to hers and I don't even have time to pull the J out before we go in and I have to pull out something completely different but can look the same way as smoking.

But anyway, she turned out to be psycho and into mindgames to fuck with people so we didn't really fuck for a lot, but the months we did it was the best ever, she is still as hot and noncrazy when I lucid dream.
Aaand where I was actually going to say, is that I told her about bitcoins at one point and she got super interested in it and bought like 1.3 btc and gambled some of it on primedice.
And now I have no contact with her whatsoever cause just being smoking buddies didn't really seem to work without the sex. -.-'

Ah shiiet, I just remembered I still owe her 20 bucks, hmm, maybe i'll save a 20 in btc in case she decides to sell at some point and give it to her when the time is right.

Women don't need special treatment or any segregated affirmative action policy. Gender really doesn't matter that much online, they can and will use Bitcoin just fine.

Boys also conscious now a days, may be in avoiding risk, girl would take first place.
Girls will use bictoin if any of their friends use it. They not ready to listen to a family or spouse word but will listen to a friend. That's the reason why FB are more successful. So, if we convince some women to bitcoin, they will finish the rest of work.

Yes girls are more conscious about present finance situations so they do not want to risk their present money nor effort to be a testing phased bitcoin, whereas men like to risk. Girls will use bitcoin when it get more success whereas men would be the reason for success of bitcoin by taking risk to buy and saving it.

what a great way to attract girls to start using bitcoin lol /s . in all seriousness though, im pretty sure girls use bitcoin, maybe not as much as guys but they still use it.

Even girls use computers, they are not ready to accept a new thing which would ask them an investment eith in form of money or effort. Girls would prefer to convert bitcoin if they get any whereas men would love to save it for a price rise. This is the basic reason for girls lagging in accepting bitcoin.
