What many people tend to overlook in the crypto market is looking at the businesses behind the coins. It is much like penny stocks, there are great chances to make money due to high volatility, but you just gotta do your research. Thanks to the blockchains being public, the crypto market is more transparent.

Yes, I would agree with the statements above, especially with the fact thats token are just promises. Actually, there's been a good article about the nature of ICO and tokens . I think it pretty much explaines how they differ from regular investments.

But as for the promise of 'untold fortunes' you just have to look carefully in project's white paper, project's team, many of them have chats in Telegram, so you might as well be able to talk to them, ask detailed questions and see how people would react. And most importantly, they should provide an explaination why their token will rise. You know, its crucial for the investors - to be confident that the team knows what to do and that there will be reasons for the currency to grow and, therefore, earn them money.

Almost all the icos are just the same, they promise to make all their users millionaires (maybe billionaires too) by only investing 1 eth in their company, and this is how it works. Their founds are gonna be wealthy for only make a new altcoin, maybe they keep 4% or 5% of all the company coins, and that is more than enough to have a lot of money.
all of them makes promises, you only have to choose the most "realistic" one.

This is the problem with ICO's
They make promises, but if they aren't structured well (and 99% are not) then there is absolutely no oversite on the money or the development. Don't particpate in an ICO if you don't know what you are doing, and don't know how to read carefully into legal talk. Beyond that, whitepapers which accompany most ICO's are just a form of marketing, and are ultimately empty promises.

Each ICO has a program objective. Well, every ICO has a price that can be considered cheap or expensive. ICO's program is very important for the future. Honestly I also can not predict, how an ICO will succeed or fail. And right now I see ICO from the side of the program that has been planned by the developers of an ICO.

If it's an Ethereum token, then you can see how many coins have been issued using the token's contract address. However, it doesn't necessary show how much money they've collected if they sell tokens for other cryptocurrencies and fiat or giveaway as part of a promotional campaign.

Knowing how many tokens have been distributed and to how many difference addresses is a good indicator of the reach of the token sale.

Hi can someone tell me if ICO coin really worth like they claim ??

i mean lets said some ICO coin sell 1000 coin (100% total supply) for 1 billion USD, at the end days of selling they claimed they already sell all of them.

my question:

how we know that they are not lied to us? i mean if its not clearly visible to stranger like us, the total capital the developer have before the ICO day and after the ICO end, isn't very hard just to tell that they already sell all of them when actually maybe they just can sell 0.0001% total supply coin??

please if someone have the answer please let me knows, actually for now i am not fans of ICO coin since many thing are not really clear for me atm, i hope some answer can make me see ICO coin in good ways,

anyway thank you for reading and comment on my thread Smiley
