I wonder why people still think there are newbie restrictions? Did they forget to change the rules on the sign up page or something?

How long to recive JR status.

4 hours of spent time on the forum and at least 1 post made..

Or your activity needs to become greater then 0, not sure o.O

Nah, the membergroups changed recently. You need 30 activity now so that's pretty much a month to achieve that. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608

Not anymore.

All the newbie restrictions are lifted now.
You can make a post in any board as you like, but there is still a time limit of 360 seconds between each post to prevent spamming.
Actions like logging in, signing up or searching will get the timer reset. So, you can't make your post right after login.

Not anymore? haha. They're not locked to this section anymore, so you're free.

They got rid of the newbie restriction? I didn't know that. Good, it was always a bit extreme.

Yeah, but I don't know what was extreme about 1 post and a four hour wait  Cheesy.
