Guys don't let this market manipulation to take money away from you. If Chinese "SEC" has so much power to suppress NEO and ICO's down, why wouldn't they leverage it and throw some money at it and on the ICO's they already know that they will approve (unlike the other ones that they will kill). Don't let manipulating news like this influence your opinion on the greatest invention of this century.
Yes , your opinion is a good one but it's really hard to gathered many people to against something you call Chinese "SEC". Ideal is just an ideal if there's no possibility to make it come true. News are coming to us included Fake and True. I think you should be smart at this sensitive time.

Perhaps this is the right decision, they did not completely ban the bitcoin, but only made a ban on ICO, and we perceive this as a complete collapse. No, of course, this has been a big influence on the market, we already feel a decline and many have started selling, but it's time to invest in coins.

Chinese goverment doesn't care about people's money, they just see a multi million bussines and want their share, once they came with a way to tax the ICOs they will allow even the most shameless cashgrabs again

You have to study economic and financial before posting a post like this.

Subject: Money laundry.

Yup I always hold good psychology and decided not to sell at this time because China is doing every way to buy all the cheap altcoin and they have been successful in the past few days. I think we should have a better view of this market, if not calm then surely you will lose.

yes , agree , Don't  let what is happening  in china  affect you ,  BTC and other good  altcoins  is the trend of  world evolution.  hold tight with what you think is valuable in future.

It's so disturbing to see the current rate and percentage of the fall for BTC and for that it can really create panic to those holders and we don't even know if there's hope for a pump for these month or maybe on next one since there is an article scattering again that there are several chinese exchange will close down there service on upcoming october and this one can already create some panic.

I read a news that there are so many ICO in China and it seems reaching bubble state. Government only wants to make sure no-one is loosing from those ICO. Previous ICO should refund it and next one may be okay (I don't know when actually for next one to be approved), it seems temporary

Yes, I understand the concern of the Chinese government in the name of protecting the people from being victims of scammy ICOs. I am sure that recently there had been new ICO projects flooding the market...especially in China where some ICOs are really targeting their own citizens. The ICO market has become a wild, wild west where anybody can just introduce an idea into the ICO platform and boom you can get all the money available on the table. This scenario can be the best ground for scam artists to exploit.

But then again, we are hoping that the Chinese government is not actually killing the golden goose that is laying the golden eggs otherwise they will be left behind in the cryptocurrency revolution. In other words, there can be changes in the strong stand banning all ICOs but there would be stricter rules and regulations that must be followed. China will soon be back...just watch out for it!
China made this move because it was causing disturbance in it has economic and financial order. There were total 7 participants who after a long discussion came to this decision. If they have banned ICOs in their country, I think it should not bother us very much. Let China deal with its personal matters! However, they won't harm crypto world as 80% of bitcoin trading is held in China.

As a nation, they have the right to do it their way as long as it is confine to their backyard. But what happened is that it rippled that cause disturbance across the market. I just hope that they don't regret their decision in the end because as much as they want to protect their citizens, they are also the first to become the victim of the banning. I agree, that they have started this tsunami but why are there turning their backs now? The only reason is that economic wise. But then again, we should look at the future and not deal with it although the price is down because of all the news coming in China, we, as bitcoin enthusiast should stay positive.

I think this is a Chinese government regulation that keeps its people from being deceived by ICO. We see a lot of ICO emerging and worrying. All the money holders interested in joining, this kind of worry that the banking world in China is not stable.
just a stupid opinion that I give. Sorry. Smiley

Ugh. this. I see the point of view of the Chinese government. There are sooo much new and soon to open ICOs that it's getting pretty obvious why plenty of ICOs are opening. It really is easy cash for them. You don't even need a product! You just need a Wordpress/Wix site, spend a few days on the whitepaper, create a "team" that consists of non-real people, hype it up a bit on social media with some paid ads on some crypto-related website, then you're good to go. Not to mention a good percentage of those ICOs will most likely disappear in a few months or a few years.
ICO is a process that must be bypassed to introduce a new coin, this is obviously very easy. Obviously this is very worrying, and the government has the authority to limit it. Make clear rules for investors not to be fooled. I am waiting for new regulation to make ICO more qualified.

Some sources are just trying to spread fud.
I've seen multiple articles saying bitcoin is banned in China now  Roll Eyes

But I don't believe the government has setup this plan to buy "cheap" bitcoins lol.

Alot of FUD, yea, but I think this time people are spreading too much ignorance. China banned ICOs, but people are reacting as if China banned blockchain technology or cryptocurrencies in general, it's surreal. It just shows how much people invested in the crypto-economy are totally ignorant on what is happening to the crypto space. If anything else, I actually think the Chinese government is doing us a favor here. Most ICOs are just cashgrabs and scams anyway. It's funny how the Chinese government has to make the move to prevent ignorant investors from investing on shitcoins.  Roll Eyes

Obviously a communist government is going to have problems with the ppl making money without government interference. Might be, Chinese trick to buy everything in the market and make domination. I guess, time to add more coins to your long term portfolio.

Crypto-currency can be a headache to the Chinese government, as they are using the Yuan which gets devalued every two or three months. People are constantly looking for an option to preserve their wealth from the devaluation of the national currency. But then, obviously the Chinese government don't want the citizens to do that.
Sorry to say but I disagree with you. China has legalized bitcoins; it has only banned ICOs because it was laying a negative impact on the local currency. ICOs are unregulated. 80 percent of trading is done in China so I think Chinese are actually supporting the crypto currency world.

Yes, it is like on many thematics. We saw consequences on manipulative news in politics, economy andmany aspects of life. Unfortunatelymsny do not research the news, even not read the whole news on Chinss announcements about ICOs. Why else could else even Bitcoin get a short pull back?

I completely agree with you. I think that a lot of people took this as a fight vs crypto, but I don't see it that way. I've actually heard that they will develop their own official virtual coin, although I don't think it will be able to compete with BTC, but they surely can co-exist. The ban on ICOs was to avoid scam and money laundry in my opinion, and I support that decision. Things seem to be getting back to normal now, as BTC price is increasing again.

China banned bitcoin like 5 times in the past, this "news" isn't even news nor has it anything to do with the recent correction in the market. People take profit in any market and that is what is happening.

The regulation calls all these fundraising techniques "illegal" when that is something they just came up with right now and will likely blow over as soon as they see how stupid their decisions are.

We can't do nothing against china. They think they can control bitcoin community, but this won't happen, never-ever. We'll be keep being free and support our digital assets. They may ban it, forbide it, we don't care.

The future will be brighter than ever for bitcoin and us.

China didn't do any direct harm against bitcoin. They just banned ICOs due to so much new ICOs opening that are obvious cashgrabs. I'm for their decision, because most people don't see that alot of those ICOs are only cashgrabs and scams. So it's pretty much the Chinese government helping the community not get scammed, not the other way around. I mean, people react as if China banned cryptocurrencies.

I am not selling any of my crypto holding when whole market is panicing with just fud like this one.
Chinese authority had investigated exchange platforms few months ago and many have sold bitcoin because they thought government will ban bitcoin trading but after a month or two this fud got over as nothing bad was published from government.

All this fud is being spreaded for chinese whales so they can buy some cheap coins.
