As for being a god, none of history's greatest inventors are considered gods.

Bitcoin is the first invention that gives wealth to the early adopters, without needing to do business. It is not an ordinary invention.

God would be an overstatement, but I am sure they do respect him, as due to him they have a lot of money.
I would see Satoshi as God and Andreas.A as Jesus preaching the bitmessage.

Depends on what you define as 'early' adopter because I'm pretty sure anyone who has discovered Bitcoin before 2015 will be considered one considering how small the market is right now. I do think my favourite theory about Satoshi though is the one about him being an alien because it would be a pretty good explanation of why someone was able to post up such an advanced piece of software.

Bitcoin was already invented on another planet thousands of years ago, and generous aliens decided to share it with humanity.

By scammer aliens with a machine that can instantly transfer all bitcoins to their account when they find convenient.

Is Satoshi a person or a group? He/the group is absolutely brilliant. Sure. God? No.

Satoshi must be god, or at least sitting somewhere next to him, because he keeps resisting the temptation of spending some of his 1 Mio Bitcoins.

I think that he is just genius, brilliant mind maybe but not God.
God is spiritual entity and Satoshi is from this world.
Bitcoin is revolutionary idea, indeed, but in 10 or 20 years someone else can come with another, greater idea, who knows?

Ask me anything if you have any problem
If I mined in the early days and effortlessly made 100000 BTC then hold for 2 years, yes, I would call Satoshi GOD.
So you want to talk about if? If I was a billionaire, if I have many chicks, if I genius, If elephant can fly.

You don't know if satoshi no longer interacts with the bitcoin community. He could be posting here with a new name.

As for being a god, none of history's greatest inventors are considered gods.

Time travelers perhaps.
