there are quite a lot of people with that amount of bitcoin mostly really early adopters  Grin  i only wish i had bought in at that stage.
I think it is very little a person who has that much bitcoin. I was a little bit of doubt if individual has a large amount of it. except gambling sites or sites of exchange. maybe I'll believe it if they store 1000 BTC in their wallets. but I'm not sure anyone has 1000 BTC in their personal wallet

Well those addresses are the true meaning of rich.

I know someone who owns around 15k bitcoins although that was few months ago. I'm not sure how many bitcoins he has now since I never heard any news from him about his bitcoins as he was interesting in investing into altcoins then.

Most Bitcoin dwellers have at least once hoped to be one of the first week investors of the Bitcoin.

I've not been there at day 1.    I would have loved to, yeh!

just search blockchain.info for "famous addresses" there are a lot of them there that have more than 1000BTC most of them are services, gambling sites (casinos), bitcoin exchanges, online wallets, most important of all Mining farms and many more that have this kind of bitcoin.

why are you looking for them anyways?
Whoah, I didn't really think there are such people having so many btc.
But if this is some kind of a company then we can't realy say about a person, because we don't know how many people are working there and all that stuff

Well someone holding 1000 Bitcoin or more are rare.  Grin I do know someone holding amount that big it's just that I don't like his personality since he started bitcoin well he runs a gambling site he used to be good to others but know he always trashtalk in our groupchat like he's a boss or something. So I think owning that big amount of bitcoin can get someone to be so arrogant.
I never see these before. it's rarely to find someone with huge of the amount. but yesterday I find the people is gamblers with huge of the amount. total for his amount is 328 btc. I know that from chatting with him in the chatbox.

Satoshi Cheesy is a valid reply?

satoshi currently owning thousands of bitcoin, but even it's not being clarificated yet but seems satoshi is the original owner
but those wallets with the money are pretty much not usable in my opinion, i think that the coins in them will never be spent and i think that we will make some good money as the price is going to grow, i dont know anyone with 1000 bitcoins

only people that i can think of having 1000 bitcoins and more are those who were active in the early days of bitcoin like satoshi himself, hal finey, and many early adopters who gathered bitcoin in the early days. and also the new people like big services although those coins aren't really theirs but it belongs to their users.

Theymos
At least the forum has more than 1000 BTC in reserves.
The cost of the new forum alone was more than 1M

Is the new forum finished yet

New forum software
i hope no big changes occur to the looks of the forum whenever it is released because i actually like the simplicity and speed.

thats true, it is a little bit scary for me to be honest because i think that it would be a disaster if satoshi started selling bitcoins, though i cannot do anything about it i guess

I don't know what you mean by know, if you mean know as in personally known as a friend, then I don't know anyone, but in this forum I think there are a couple of people with 4 figures. I think the user rpietila owns 1000 or more than that. He is rich and owns a castle.
If i had a friend with 1000BTC..either he should not be talking to me right now or he would also have helped me to have some Btc in my wallet.

Personally, no. Online, however, still no.

We can search for addresses with more than 1000BTC value but most of them would be company-owned.

Look for addresses with > 1000 BTC that haven't been active in a while (several years). Those addresses are likely to be individually owned. Company owned addresses usually have coins flowing in and out.
