Forum is a discussion board and not a service to guide a user. The admin here don’t charge anything when we register so don’t expect such service here. You are free to browse all the content here and all rules and forum feature is already posted on the sticky thread of Meta and Beginners & Help Board.

You need to DYOR here or hire a service of someone knowledgeable here if you want a mentor. Don’t expect someone will offer you a 1 is to 1 mentorship for free here because all our time is precious.

Perfect words mate, everyone is  welcome to ask questions as long as he or she don't understand about Crypto,to make someone who has knowledge of it enlighten them. Although no one knows everything or I can say that no one is perfect, I'm sure we have a lot of people who can help. In the forum, the admin that are here don't charge for anything concerning the registration or any other things. Many people are here to learn what you are also here for. By the progress of the forum, they all understand a lot about the Crypto activity.

I don't know where are OP coming from and actually you have great mentor in your local board discussing.

Looking for other success achievement in this forum can check with several user who has many merit points and looking current post from them, but knowledge and skill writing most necessary to be success here, good luck OP and you can be success as soon possible in this forum and you can push account to higher level

There's no one. This is a forum, not a tutorial site. But you could, of course, follow certain users who are apparently more knowledgeable than the rest. It also depends on the specific areas like the ones that you mentioned. In general, off the top of my head, I could name the likes of o_e_l_e_o, pooya87, NeuroticFish, among many others from whom you could learn a lot.

As to the forum rules and regulations, you will have to read them. Some you will eventually learn or observe as you explore the forum. Some you might learn after your thread or post gets deleted, merged, moved, locked, and so on. Just don't commit grave mistakes like plagiarism, for example. It could get you banned.

Welcome!

#SWGT PRE-SALE IS LIVE
This is my first post, I know sometimes we can be ignorant of what we're doing thinking we are right, I will love to know if mentors are assign to guide us? over our posts to avoid violating the forum rules and regulations.
We don't have mentors assigned to us, but if you can pay someone to mentor you then go for it, but by default the forum is not offering any mentorship because the community does not have obligation to any of us here, you have all the rules written for us so we can be guided, it's your obligation to read it so your stay here will be productive and pleasant.
The only way to avoid violating forum rules is to read it, know it by heart, and practice it, and the best time to do this is when you are a newbie.

There is nothing like mentor on the forum here, but their is forum rules and regulations here which is very self explanatory and will definitely guide you, if you can carefully go through the forum rules and regulations, then am sure you won't go against the rules. In the forum here, nobody will spoon-feed you here, but if you are ready to learn, just be prepared to read and am sure you will definitely learn. Make sure you follow other high rank members on the forum and read their posts, you will definitely learn a lot's from them.

- hello doctor who box
Well, you can learn about the rules and regulations by simply reading them and learning what you want to learn and also by reading the topics that are already here, or you can ask for help for any specific topic that you want to learn.
This is a forum similar to a social networking site. Maybe this forum has a unique way of operating. No one is operating here as a mentor. Non of the member needed a guide before, I think you will learn how to operate the forum by spending time here.

Not really mentors but moderators who check your post and delete your post if is redundant and spam, so if you receive a message that your post or posts are deleted by moderators that's a sign that you are doing something wrong

Personally am here to learn more than doing what I don't know how to do best. Although Cryptosystem community is very large one which you can not learn everything at once but with you guys here, sure going to learn enough about bitcoin, Bitcoin wallets, transactions, mining and trading, market situations and policies.
Everything you mentioned are all here you just need to learn how to use the search form here in Bitcointalk or use Google search and add the word Bitcointalk at the end and you will have the results that you're looking for here in Bitcointalk or you can check the sections about the subject and explore, you can even stumble topics that you are not looking for in the first place but interesting to you.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
No, we don't actually have peeps that are designated to mentor others...
Everyone in here is driven by a self-taught perseverance and an inbuilt potential.... No one has the time to motivate individually; if anything like that is done, it's done as a thread to motivate everyone...not just some mentorship shiiiiii, yunno.
Read every useful post you see in here; make personal investigations and learn internally, externally and other wise.. it's in the "consistency" that you'll gain the hope, strength and resilience to thrive.

Mentors help you do better, makes you quickly adapt and speeds up the process to what you could know/archive on the forum. Unfortunately for you @OP, mentors isn't something that gets assigned on the forum and it's better that way. I mean, it would mean such loads of work and for what? Besides, how much can just one user know compared to the whole forum? That's why you really don't need a mentor in any particular person. The whole forum is there to guide you and you can always learn from anyone and everyone on the forum. It's better that way.

Don't be fearful of slow progress, slow progress is still progress and with time, you would come to understand more what goes on in the cryptospace. Give it time and some devotion.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
I don't think I have ever heard of mentors in this forum, but a moderator is one common term to know.  This forum is almost like a self taught program for anyone with interest in cryptocurrency; its terms, languages and procedures to follow to complete a trade or deliver service.
You just got to learn on your own by reading through the rules, finding your niche and contribute mostly topics of quality on subjects herein. Shit posts get deleted, merits get awarded for good posts, the experience in total is one you got to discover for yourself. No pressures, take your time to study how the forum works and you'll be just fine.

There are no such positions as mentors here stead we have moderators that help keep the forum sections in check against unhealthy and poor posts. The only mentor you can have here are the forum rules which will guide you on the dos and don't of the forum so I'll advise you spend quality time to read through carefully as some forum user's have giving you links to the rules of the forum and others articles that could groom your crypto trading skills, cause from your post the money to start isn't your issue but rather it's the lack of the skills to trade that's your major concern right now.
You can see more post about trading from trading discussion and market place.to help you out gradually.

You don't need a mentor to guide you on your posting, this forum has it's rules and you need to read them yourselves, at first, I thought you are talking about a crypto investor mentor or someone very good at crypto trading.

Things to look out for

1. If your post is deleted then you post a shitpost, meaning the post or thread you created doesn't make any sense.
2. If you talk about Food in Bitcoin discussion section, it will be moved to off-topic, so post about bitcoin in bitcoin discussion section and post about altcoins in altcoins sections.
3. Make sure your post is very constructive, and do not copy from another websites and paste here, that's plagiarism, and this will get your account banned.

We don't have mentors assigned for this function but we have moderators which are on each boards to regulate moderacy from members by deleting posts that are off topic or moving them appropriately to the right board, you can get reported to them or you also report someone as well, they also perform the function to ban any user going against the forum's rules and regulations.

Personally am here to learn more than doing what I don't know how to do best. Although Cryptosystem community is very large one which you can not learn everything at once but with you guys here, sure going to learn enough about bitcoin, Bitcoin wallets, transactions, mining and trading, market situations and policies.

Someone also post a recent topic on beginners and help about mentors https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5438765 if you're a newbie here, learn first, read the forum's rules, understand the forum and study the way members post here, get familiar with the boards a d post to the right one, avoid off topic, low quality post and the likes of spamming, every other things you needed are available on each board, just ve active and learn.

Well,I don't think there is any mentor assigned to anybody as far as bitcointalk discussion forum is concerned,I think the forum is open to everyone to choose anybody whom he seems it fit to be his mentor.Every one is here learning, nevertheless, some persons are ahead in knowledge about Bitcoin than some, and that is why it is good to have some one who will teach you what to do,and how to trade in other to make profit or gain in the forum. It is good that one should always read and follow someone they feel he's good enough to be a mentor to them.

You have been looking at the forum in wrong perspective as there are some experienced and knowledgeable memeber who can help you in clearing your doubts or sharing useful information through different threads but you also need to take active part in such discussions.

You have been provided with rules of forum and some links to resources by @mk4 through which you can have knowledge about bitcoin stuff but only if you are interested in doing it as this is not some paid group where you will get lectures rather it's open discussion forum. But if you want to search for any thread do it like this :

Code:
Hardware wallets bitcointalk
Bitcoin books bitcointalk
How to derive private keys bitciointalk

So just do it by yourself and see you will learn a lot through this manner instead of looking for some mentor who can influence you into some wrong information and investments.

It's a crude solution to a problem.
Ban evasion is against the rules, so when an account gets banned some units of evil is associated with the IP of that account, so when the units of evil gets too high, all accounts created from that IP would be blacklisted and not be able to post, to discouraged banned accounts from creating new ones.

I used to assume that every device that is connected to the internet has its own unique IP. How come people share the same IP even when they are very far apart? I have noticed that my IP used to change sometimes when I get mails from some websites am subscribed to. It is slight change and if you do not look deeply you can miss the change. That means this distortion in IP is what makes new users share the same IP with banned accounts or any other reason?

You should not look at it that way.
If the admins were looking for ways to make money, they would not disale donations on the forum.

Maybe the donations have not been coming for sometime and the best thing will be to stop it publicly. Except those who control this forum tell us why it was stopped we are got going to know why it happened.

Yes I know there is provision for new accounts to be whitelisted by some chosen members for free. But why do new members have to go through all that at all.

It is a poor solution cause banned users can find their way around the IP restrictions or pay the fee to enable posting on the account, but honest new members are unlikely to pay to use a forum they have never been on before and would even think they are being scammed.
Hence the users who can whitelist for free.

Alot of people will say that what is charged is nothing of much stress to those paying it because it is little payment but they forget that if gathered together that is a lot of cash.
You should not look at it that way.

If you need the service of a mentor you can hire one as this is not real life where you have the chance to follow someone else pattern of doing things and you call it mentorship.
But here in the forum there is nothing like assigning mentors to each new member, my best advice on mentorship in the forum is that you should discover a member of the forum whose pattern of writing and idea you like and you can follow them even without them knowing that you are under the mentorship as long as you don't disobey the rules of the forum.

One spammer account was blocked. https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3531640
The moderators simply could not stand his spam. But the OP came to replace him, and also his second account, which also tries to write nonsense every day, and opens new topics.
OP, did you forget about the topic you opened?

Have a mentor and a coach in the forum.

But there is an evil fee paid upon registration as a penalty for an alleged IP crime. Without paying that fee you can not post from that account. What is that for or you have not heard of anything like that?
There is a way to bypass that if you're a totally new user, as some members, including myself, have whitelisting privileges.

Yes I know there is provision for new accounts to be whitelisted by some chosen members for free. But why do new members have to go through all that at all. My account was done freely when i registered. I believe it was the same thing for those who registered before I did in 2017. Alot of people will say that what is charged is nothing of much stress to those paying it because it is little payment but they forget that if gathered together that is a lot of cash.
