Planting trees is a long-term solution and to be honest, it can slow down the rate in a negligible amount as well, global warming is part of the ecosystem, it happens on its own and we humans just fastened its process by adding more gases such as emission of carbon and due to various other reasons. So what is the solution, there isn't any for now and whatever we do may not be effective at all and already governments all around the globe is looking for ways to reduce the carbon emission which is also a long term process.

Meanwhile, plant tress by yourselves as much as you can but it will take 100s of years to really make an impact by doing this.

Earth's temperature is slowly increasing.  The gradual increase in the temperature of the earth is called global warming.  An example of a natural disaster caused by global warming is flash flooding.  As the temperature of the earth increases, the polar ice melts, resulting in flash floods.  Also, various other natural disasters occur.  Planting trees can prevent global warming.  Lately I have been seeing a lot of posts on social media about planting trees.  But the matter has become such that the number of posts about planting trees is more than planting trees.  We all understand that only planting trees can save us from such natural calamities.  But we ask ourselves how many trees we have planted till date.  We only say by mouth that plant trees but there are people in the world who have not planted a single tree in their life.  Therefore, it should be shown in reality, not just in words.  And I think that strong action should be taken by the government about planting trees.

Planting trees is best for the environment, the more trees you plant, the more pleasant and balanced the environment will be. However, the responsibility of planting trees should not be carried out only by the government, it is the responsibility of every citizen, every citizen can plant trees anywhere in front of his house. Trees play a major role in protecting the environment and maintaining balance, as the saying goes, plant trees, save the environment.

And I think that strong action should be taken by the government about planting trees.

The strong action that should be taken by government should include both stopping those that are cutting trees because the practice is increasing daily as people randomly fall tree without looking at the consequences of what effect it will have on the environment. Also, the government is suppose to regulate the way sawmill industries operate because they are the major culprit in this as they supply the building industry woods, so they should assign them especially to cultivate planting of trees because they create so much havoc and destruction of the forest which contribute the climate change causing the ozone layer depletion whose effect is on the environment and it causes erosion, harsh weather condition etc.

Planting trees is very important because it will really help the environment. The amount of heat we are facing in my country has forced many people to sleep outside their homes at night. However, the solution doesn't only depend on afforestation but there is a need to control deforestation. The rate at which trees are cut down in my location is very alarming and the reason is that the government has no policy on curbing incessant cutting down of trees.

Personally this winter or 2023/2024 I have planted approximately 130 Trees and will
be adding a further 40 in this coming winter season. Apart from 2 they are all native to
my country, some are fast growing, and some not so fast.
Sadly I have not planted any tree in fourteen years. The last tree I planted was when I was a student and it was compulsory. It's great to know that you have planted so many trees that have contributed to the balance of our environment. The only problem that is restricting me from planting currently is space. I live in an overcrowded city, where almost all the land space has been occupied by buildings. Maybe I might consider planting outside the city because I want to be part of this mission to save our planet.

Well at least you care enough about the importance of Trees. Do you know of some
disused spaces in your area? do you know others in your community who care about
the environment  and the importance of planting Trees?

If yes you could start some "Guerilla" Tree planting!

Just get some tree saplings and plant them in those unused spaces or neglected
areas and hopefully they make it to big trees. Anyone can do this type of planting.

We are lagging way behind and infact we are chopping more tree for so called development and highways without realising we cannot live without plants and already we are witnessing worst crisis in my town as it's urbanized and we don't have any tree or shades of tree resulting in extreme heatwaves and soon this pice of land will become unliveable if this continues. I think it's a shared responsibility between government and the people to take up this task.

IMO not only improving the living environment but also finding more solutions for industrial emissions in life, because if we think that planting more trees and continuing to litter/emission more, the living environment will still be damaged destroyed over time.

But I have heard about some seminars on protecting the living environment, we face many different problems on this planet to be able to protect the living environment. It's like people are still afraid of harm before WW3 creating a war where nuclear weapons will be the card that dominates the situation to create a new domination.

Anyway, if we cannot look at the problem on a global scale, having more trees in the house where each person lives will also bring a cleaner atmosphere. I have visited some forests that have been exploited for natural wood, and after facing big storms, they are also aware of the need to restore nature rather than forever exploiting resources.

Actually, it's not slowly but rapidly.

Trees do help to cool down areas as they'll serve as shades as well and also will sip the flood. They're helping in calming down the temperature of the areas where they at but with other calamities coming, they can get washed away by strong typhoons. Aside from the effect of flash floods without having trees, the global warming increases the heat index also for which means to make the crops dry and the farm lands. We're all on this and sadly, many countries are experiencing this. And those forests that are being hit by extreme heat, they can't help themselves when bush and forest fires comes out of it.

No, we do not plant trees. Some plant trees but we don't do it as often and well as we should. A lot of people don't even take it seriously. As a matter of fact, people don't take climate change seriously as much as they should.
I come from a place where cutting down trees is good business. They cut down different kinds of big trees to sell to different companies but none of these guys bother to plant a single tree. The forest used to be filled with several very big trees where you couldn't even see the skies if you were under them, but now most of those trees are gone.

The funny part is you'll see these same people complaining of too much heat and irregular weather and climate conditions but they never seem to understand that they're part of the problem. However small or insignificant our role may seem, we can be either a part of the problem or a part of the solution.

The situation has gone out of hand just that our government take everything very lightly all the time many summit has been conducted that require them to start enforcing this planting of trees in our roads, public office and building environment as well encouraging private sector and individual to do same , back then when I was small when trees is almost everywhere you hardly felt the impact of the hotness of the sun but today global warming due to no more trees deforestation everywhere.

The best us to start this move of planting before the earth decay or melt in hotness.

Reforestation is actually a thing, though, since I started to read about it because of the impact it can have on the environments in the long run, I have grown witn the impression and idea that most of the tree planting programa and reforestation is being carry out by non-profit organizations instead of governments.
And to me (even though it is not the most efficient way to plant trees and recover forests) makes sense, because in these times of economical and political challenges in the world in the eyes of many people it would be outrageous for their central government to use much of their budget to plant trees instead of other things which could be perceived to be more urgent and of higher priority, like healthcare, education and security.
So if someone is truly worried about trees and the survival of forests, it would be okey to search for a reliable and proven non-profit organization which plants trees and make some donations for the cause.

From my primary school days, I've been hearing about the importance of planting trees, then we didn't even know about global warming, it was for giving us oxygen and we give them carbon monoxide, also for beautification and forestation. Now we have a more important reason to plant tree now, because of this global warming threats to our climate, it has now become a matter of survival for us to plant trees, to prevent impending disasters ahead. But the problem to planting trees is the high concentration of people in the congested urban areas, even if they want to plant trees, there's hardly any space to do so, besides most landlords will not allow any tenant to use their limited space for tree planting. If anybody have space to plant trees in their environment, they should not hesitate to do so.

For our safety and healthy living we need to plant trees in our homes and society because there's every tendency that the need for tree planting in to world is very paramount because it will prevent the issue of widespread of deforestation and damages to our homes during rainy season and even without rainfall.
So our people needs to educated on the need and need to know the importance of planting of trees in homes and the society and the purpose it serves.

The world's population is increasing, people are clearing houses, land and large areas for living and making it habitable. Because of this, trees are constantly being killed all over the world, and because of this killing of trees, the temperature on earth is increasing. And the heat has been created, the temperature of the sun has increased, as a result of which people have to suffer disasters in various ways. Although land does not increase as the world's population increases, it is limited. So we must be careful to reduce the birth control rate, and live properly and plant trees only then it will be possible to avoid all these disasters.

The problem is there are people who doesn't have land to plant a tree, there are people who only rents a space to live in and sometimes there is no space for planting whatever they want.
And also there are who people who cuts down tree to build commercial space to develop rural area's, not to mention illegal logging, it would be useless even if others plant trees if we couldn't stop those activities.
I am not against development but at least provide space where they could still plant trees, don't take up all the space.

your suggestion is good based on human health and the human profit in any environment we found ourselves but this has not nothing to do with a government as a politics and sometimes I will say that we make a post without cross checking the the meaning of what we are saying so I've not seen any impact this topic can create us this is exactly and agricultural science that we are discussing if someone can be able to come down and read exactly what you wrote.. it is not that I am condemning your post but it is what I understand after I read your composition

Planting a tree in community is very good because it can prevent natural disaster which is over flooding in the community, but that's what they some people's do not understand with the way thier demolish the tress in community without planting the new ones that is what the causes of warming over flooding is always decreased. Expecially those villager's that only demolish the tress for their own use which they will only it making the charcoal, and which why some i don't blame the uniforms man that are always attacked them in the road.

But they will still complain they don't know that is even our good, because once over flooding start it definitely will demolish the house that you spent thousands days to build that is why is very I im very locations to plant more trees to prevent global warming.

There is a saying that "The best time to plant a Tree was 100 years ago, the second
best time is NOW".

There is another big worry besides Climate change and that is Biodiversity. We are still
losing natural habitat in order to grow food predominantly to feed to farmed animals.
Forestry will help counter this as well as helping to control CO2.

Actually, planting trees is now considered to be anti-environment...  It's true, look it up.  See what Bill Gates is planning to do.  You won't believe me if I tell you that he wants to start cutting down forests and burying the trees (not even using them as resources) in order to keep new forests from growing, so research it yourself.  I'm not sure what his logic behind this is, other than if there are less trees then we won't notice the dying off of plants/trees as a result of not enough CO2 available for them to breathe.  Yes, that CO2 that is being blamed for global warming (which is idiotic in itself) and is keeping plants alive that keep people alive is being targeted.  It's a vicious cycle that is anti-life and will lead to more population control "vaccines" as the human population will need to be reduced alongside trees in order to try and maintain balance.  Don't worry though, first they'll try to get us to all eat bugs before outright murdering us by the billions so we have a little time left to enjoy bacon burgers and steaks while sitting in the shade of a tree.

I believe many governments will allow planting of trees in their land, base on the high temperatures people are experiencing from the land and it will help their crops to grow well, and people around such country will going to enjoying cold weather during the raining season and the dry season.

There are many farmers who are into Forestry, just to ensure there are differences types of trees around the country to make the citizens not to dwell in the high temperatures, which it can cause so many diseases that will cause people to spend big money before they can be free from the disease in the hospital.

Since, government and the people in the society will going to benefit from the planting of trees, I will advise government to assist people to plant trees around their environment so that they can benefit from the system in their land.
