yes i accept bitcoin in my business but the problem is that there is no one who like to do shopping in bitcoin.
for some people using bitcoin is difficult. but in fact they do not understand the system and how bitcoin. The first step is to explain to the customer that they do not have to carry paper money. they just need a smartphone connected to the internet.
The thing is who would explain, we have no good exposure in the media because some of the illegal activities in this world are link with bitcoin especially those in online world or in the dark net to be specific.

Alot of businesses don't accept it. I don't own a business but if I would have one then I think i wouldn't accept it either just yet.
Prices being too unstable and people being too unsure of using the coins makes it not so tempting for me as a "business owner"

I'm selling IPTV and ofc i do accept it! Unfortunatly in my country BTC is not so widely used and im selling only local programs so till now out of ~800 transactions i've only had 2 BTC payments.
WE dont want to accept bitcoins in our company and that is just becuase of the many users our company has and most of them are only dealing with money instead of coins.

yes i am running a general store and i accept bitcoin in my business.
It is good job for making bitcoin become payment method on your store and you must explain about bitcoin with simple explaining if there are people who shopping on your store, i think it will make bitcoin more popular on your local area, although you must explain it to costumers.

BitcoinTalkRadio accepts Bitcoin along with most decent priced Altcoins for payment.
Get a 15 second or 30 second radio ad that airs 4x a day for 3 or 6 months and save additional 15% off when paying in Bitcoin or Alts like ETH, UNB, XCO, or DASH.

I'm a simple business man with a business online. I actually prefer bitcoin payment more than cash payment because there's a chance of profit with bitcoins. I mean, if someone payed me $200 worth of bitcoins (~0.45BTC), in just a few weeks or months, the same amount has higher value with nearly $230 so it's a profit!
We never accept bitcoins in our company and the most commend reason of that is just because the older people in our company does not know how to deal with it so no we are not accepting it.

This is one  of the  most common thing to be considered when  a person/owner intend to  accept bitcoin in their business since their clients wouldnt still know about bitcoin and   for sure they would have a hard time  to convince or  implement it because of lack of knowledge. It really depends on a  certain place where  bitcoins  adoption is high then its okay  for you  to accept bitcoin in your place.

I just read in the comments that business users can incorporate Bitpay and use the bitcoin they get from Payments and sell it instantly to fiat, that's really cool and will help to offset the risks involved with the fluctuation of the price of bitcoin.

If we want bitcoin to adopted and used by people everywhere then it's high time for business to accept bitcoin. We can start this by introducing bitcoin in businesses run by cryptousers themselves especially in their shops. Once it becomes successful, then other businessmen will start to adopt bitcoin and we can grow the community.
Actually it is just easy to accept bitcoin as our mode of payment online but one problem I saw is that the market is not that huge that's why huge merchants have hesitated to adopt bitcoin and accept bitcoins as the mode of payment for online transaction.

If I was lucky and I have a business to say yes i will accept bitcoin. Because bitcoin is a great way to hide the money up and down its price could still earn the money I earned to my business double earnings. So I accept bitcoin matter what kind of business it will open the bitcoin payment.

Well, that's a good way to hide your money from the government tax department about your sales. But I don't think that it will be forever, government will always find out about that. Besides, you cannot just hide your money all the time, you will always use your wealth later on in purchasing a house or something that is noticeable, that way, your money will still be taxed.

I don't have a business but if I'd own one then I think I would start to accept bitcoin already. Only if there's a system where I could convert it instantly trough purchase to fiat. Cause I think people should be able to pick their payment methods freely as a customer money is money.

Business mean work, and you are already doing work with bitcoin, so i think you can't say that you have not a business with bitcoins, but it is other point that we have small lever with bitcoin.
But don't forget bitcoin is best amount transfer and in a less fees.

I fully agree, but I think that we should more publish it too the public these days, a lot of people do not even know the bitcoin and due to that it gets stuck all the way.
If the bitcoin gets more popular it will grow more and also some shops will accept it than.

I also think that making it more popular will help us a lot but of course this cannot be predicted, we first have to try and than see what happens.
I think that it will help businesses a lot and that they can make profit from it.

here in our area the users of bitcoin are a few therefore it is just useless to accept bitcoin in my business but still  i will like to accept bitcoin from the customers because i want to promote bitcoin in my area so that people may know about bitcoin and do not feel reluctant to invest ther money in bitcoin.
It is same with my area, but i won't give up because of there are not people who use bitcoin in my area, i have tried explaining about bitcoin little by little on local area and i have told to them that i was accepted bitcoin as payment method if they will shopping in my store.

i think you don't have to push people around you to use bitcoin but you just need to explain to them what is bitcoin and if they decide not to play with bitcoin, then you don't have to make anything. the choice is up to them and you can still continue for playing around with bitcoin and make money with bitcoin  Grin

its really sad if we can attract people to know more about bitcoin because this is why bitcoin is really slow to be accepted by more people and this could be make people get wrong info about bitcoin.
