for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.
There are many services/merchants/shops accepting bitcoin right now, and the number is growing. The problem is that usually payment with bitcoin is not widely announced and are often hidden under debit/credit, paypal and bank transfer method of payment. Usually you can chose bitcoin payment only if you are finalizing your purchase.
I never spent bitcoins because i dont like to use bitcoins for such a bullshit things you know lots of poeple are investing with the bitcoin and i never want to put it into bullshit.

I am spending it, but I don't really rely on it to buy things that I need.. if I could buy things with fiat and from my salary, then I don't move my coins, but there are things that I need to buy such as mobile load, that way I am spending my bitcoin as it is easier and convenient, no need to go out..

Im not like that I don't really spend it just because my main goal is to safe as many coins as I possibly can.
So if I'd spend it it would be counterproductive which I don't want to be because I need many coins for the future when prices go higher.

There are to many people just holding their coins and that is not pretty well because i know from experience that when every body is holding the price wont change up but down and that is not what we bitcoin users wanmt.
Yeah I know but many people do not want to spend their Bitcoin because they then wont make money from it because they want sell their Bitcoin.
I would also not spend my Bitcoin because I have paid much money for them.

I mostly buy online with Bitcoin, use it for gaming to buy in game currency and from time to time to buy drink at one coffee shop near my place.

That's great to hear that you can buy coffee with your bitcoins and I really wish that I could spend it on a coffee or a glass of beer so that I can go cashless every time when I want to spend my bitcoins.
It will happen in the future dude, we just have to be more patient. If you will live in a well developed countries then I am pretty sure you can experience the best benefits of spending online with your bitcoin, but if you are living in a country where bitcoin is not that popular maybe we should just wait for the right time.
you can still exchange it to your local currency and let the circulation continue so you are still spending it. and that also helping bitcoin
to continue to progress i know in due time will be able to use btc in all our needs.

Agree, even you cant  spend  the actual bitcoin on merchants  but still you are spending  it when you intend to  exchange it into fiat and  buy the  things you need which is considered already spending and you are right  it do really helps the bitcoin ecosystem to grow even more.
You are still active because once you cash out in fiat you will spend for your needs and wants and even by spending it in online betting that means you are also an active spender of your bitcoins. Those who are not active are only the investors who are doing a long term investment.

Yes if you are earning only from bitcoins then you need to spend them regularly to take care of basic expenses, but if you  have a day job then it will make easier to save your bitcoins for future.

So somehow it's really important to have a day job so that people's salary there will be used for daily and basic expenses.

With the status like that, their bitcoins are just saved and will just come out whenever they really need it.

Thats true,,,, someone without any day job would probably not be able to save all his coins because he will need to spend some of it in between every period of a month or something like that, but if someone has a job he wont need to convert or spend his bitcoins, same goes with me, i don't have any day job so i'm not able to save all my coins every month.
Yes. it is hard to save the online earning for an online employee who do all time work with bitcoin.. but some big developers and programmers can still save their money because they are earning very good salary from bitcoin. I know some altcoin developers and gambling site's mods who are earning 500$ a week.. so if someone get a job like that he will probably be able to spend and save both.

i spend my bitcoins. but only for digital goods.
e.g. my vpn accepts BTC. andi bought some apps with BTC.
I do not spend my Bitcoin that often because I am here to make some money and save money. I think that if you make use of Bitcoin because of that reason that you should not spend Bitcoin.
It is then better to spend your money and hold on to your Bitcoin.

If its an long term investment for you then better not to spend them and save them for future and you can sell them only when price goes higher allowing you to make higher profits.

How about an addition to the question on to what you are spending your bitcoin to?
The question can only be answered by yes or no so we might want to add up.
I am using it or spending it with game top ups. It is not really for me but for my friends who are playing online games. I just put a little interest on it for a friendly price.

Exactly, but as we know that there are many users who are still student and not having a full time job will definitely prefer to sell their coins so that it can take care of their pocket money.

If that is the case then no choice but to use their bitcoin for the moment. After they succesfully finished their studies then they can have another opportunity to earn more by finding real life job and just continue their usual work to earn bitcoin.

It is a must to have a day job ifyou are just starting with bitcoin.  It will give you lots of advantage if you have your day job and have your job that pay in bitcoin.  One reason is that you don't have to worry if one of those job got a problem.  Second, you will be enjoying some financial freedom because you are  earning more than what you really need..

Yes multiple source of income indeed. And besides some of the bitcoin works doesn't need to spend most of your time per day so still you can do both without pressuring yourself.

Yeah if you can manage you schedule smartly then you can easily earn from both of them and you don't need to sacrifice your full time job for bitcoin, working on both will give you higher income.
