Holding bitcoins for a few years is a bit risky and too long imo. We don't know what happen to bitcoin on that years. For me better spend your bitcoin for invest in bitcoin for short-term
yeah its risky but its fine to hold your coins and when you see changes in price you can already sell it and dont need to wait for long time to earn. im also holding my coins and i use some of my btc to trade. i dont spend my btc right now i just hold it.

That's right the price of bitcoin is unpredictable, either it can go higher or lower so its better to keep on making profits from it in short term by investing it in trading.

Sometimes the risk is worth the take. Like when you risk your money in 2015 when the price is just above 200, you will be reaping great profits now. If you are a person who cannot take risk, then it is better to spend them so you can have peace of mind. But if you are a risk taker, then it can be profitable too.

Actually everyone likes to trade with their bitcoins and the ones who trade their coins actually do it so that they can earn more bitcoins to be spent in coming time, so the basic purpose of everyone in bitcoin is to get more and more money to spend on their lives but only a few of them are able to spend them and others just convert them to fiat.

That's actually could be considered as spending bitcoin because you're using bitcoin to pay for internet and another service,it could support bitcoin to be the real curreny instead of only becoming trading tools for those traders,bitcoin actually must be used for spendingAgree! You are spending your bitcoin to pay internet and other stuff! Trading in bitcoin is all about buying and selling other ccoins or also bitcoin! If you are literally into trading yyou should into altcoin trading yyou can earn decent profits from it if yyou know when and what to buy and sell

I think when the price of bitcoin is high you can use it to buy something. because it will give you a cheap price. because of the high price of bitcoin be the reason? if you're just playing the entire bitcoin to trading it does not matter, but be sure you know the risks

I am spending it, but I don't really rely on it to buy things that I need.. if I could buy things with fiat and from my salary, then I don't move my coins, but there are things that I need to buy such as mobile load, that way I am spending my bitcoin as it is easier and convenient, no need to go out..
Indeed but here if I want to spend it it will be difficult to do so since there are litterly no shops accepting it where I live.
Perhaps in the country but not in the same area here, if I'd spend them I'd spend the online cause offline is too much effort to find a shop.
That's true spending them offline is not possible at a moment as there are hardly any shop that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment but I think we should start using bitcoin debit card, that will make things lot easier.
for me, better to hold and sell while the price is up like now and i can gain the profit. i think if there is any store, offline and online, that recieve bitcoin as their payment, it would be glad and we can buy a product and pay with bitcoin.
i am not actively spend my bitcoin unless i have emergency situations, i will prefer to hold my bitcoin for a while and selling for the highest price like todays.

yeah I think everybody wants to do their spending something in need of it. but you know this time bitcoin has not been so accepted. only a few merchants who accept and perhaps receive it only domain sites and the like. of course we could not buy a domain in every day right ?Indeed sometimes it's not like we don't want to actively spend our coins but we just don't have the option to do so.
I wouldn't want to spend my coins though cause I am a saver and investor so I want as many coins as possible.
Yeah adoption will go higher in coming years which will take price to higher level, and for the same reason I am not spending my coins and saving them for future.

yeah bitcoin prices increases are pretty frequent now so it's better that you have bitcoins available when the time comes to sell them higher. as for me unfortunately, i've spent a big amount in gambling , well lost a big amount that is. sooo i'm currently trying to earn more coins and hopefully i get more so i could buy low coins before prices start going up

Yes same here it is hard to earn bitcoin this is not easy and we are just earning few but we have a chace that the price of bitcoin will increase more that our bitcoin we holding for a long time can get more benefits because of price increase..

This is not only for digital place here in bitcoin now we can use also in steam they are now accepting bitcoin as payment also there is purse.io that we can use to buy items in amazon with rebate.. unlike last year there is only few stores are accepting bitcoin.. I buy things from there.

Bitcoin usage activity should be pushed by a lot of us so that merchants will be willing to make some businesses using bitcoin as a means of payment. It is a main problem for now. They dont see it as a profitable area because of the high percetage of holders.
I agree we should rally support to the merchant who is accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment. If a merchant story of becoming successful involves bitcoin adoption, I'm sure many merchants will follow this successful merchant's example. This way we can have more merchant to accept bitcoin and we will have easier way to spend our bitcoin every day.
