In my point of view , I totally Disagree with this that people borrow money for gambling purpose as it will Zero your balance in the end. It is bad addiction to take money for play games wrong way instead you can use your own technique to earn from gambling. For instance,  Numerous people take loan and never return back.

Never. People shouldn't lend money to users who want to gamble their money and take a loan for a thing that's just a bad addiction but they should instead use their own money. I've seen people who take micro loans with their alt accounts and then never turn back to return the money.

You should NEVER borrow money to gamble. ....

When greed and need are joined together, you can see the gambler begging for his best friend even his family to borrow. And most of this case were cause by lossing and want to recover his loss

You should NEVER borrow money to gamble. That's just gambling money that you can't afford to lose. And honestly, that's the number one rule to gambling.. Only bet what you can afford to lose.

No. One should never invest what they can't lose let alone gamble with it

It's a normal loan. Like I said if the person has proven he had skill, and showed a good ROI% over a long period off time, it is perfectly normal to make an investment to win even more.
You have plenty of poker learning sites investing in players and promoting a good bankroll management and they get some good profit by some of those players that become sharks in poker. So it's the same here. I have a friend that is very good in sports betting, and he did just that, he shoed his results and asked for an investment. It looked profitable so he got the loan, and he is a professional sports betting trader now and drives a ferrari lol

I don't know if that is the original question but it brings a good point.  If the person is a proven pro, it wouldn't hurt to loan money.  That being said those are few and far between.  More than likely, you are loaning someone with a gambling problem and that can be a problem.

Yes of course, like I said I think it's important to know the difference. In most cases yes, it should be someone with a gambling problem, and in that case I don't think the loan would be correct, but there are some exception like the one I mentioned.

if you let someone borrow money to use in gambling, and that someone lose the money he/she borrowed to you. then how can he/she will be able to pay you ? so i dont agree with this.

Will you let someone borrow from you if you don't how he/she will gonna pay? Of course you'll ask a collateral first or at least ask him/her if he/she has a stable income (eg. salary from work) so that he/she can repay promptly. Duh I won't let someone borrow from me if he/she will promise gonna repay with his/her profit (if ever won). It basically means he/she will only repay if won Grin

yeah, that is why nobody is comfortable even lending money to people who want to gamble with the money. just check out the lending section, you will see that lenders will reject the applications which put gambling as the reason.
of course if you provide collateral it won't matter that much, but still it would be a hassle when lending a gambler.

But do you think these gamblers will tell you the real facts of why they are borrowing money? I don't think so. That's why when you want to lend money to be safer side, never lend money without any proper collateral. Then you will be safe, if they don't pay back then you can recover you money from their collateral.

I really liked the Topic started by MinerHQ , This is very obvious question and most of the gamblers face this , being a frequent one i can say yes the urge of winning can take you to sell your clothes , lending is no far than this .

Probably with the collateral that they gave you. It's usually a good idea to take collateral while giving any kind of loan, to minimize losses. That being said, loaning money to gamblers isn't the greatest idea.

Yes. Barrow money for gambling is a slow suicidal. When you get loan for the purpose of gambling your thinking will turn to how to earn quick money to repay loan so that you will get more loans of bigger amounts. This is stop you to perform as usual will result in wipe out of all the money.

I will never approve borrowing money to gamble. Gambling for me is a thing to do just for fun, and sometimes win some money, so it is very bad to borrow money to gamble. If anybody is doing this, i would say he has a serious gambling problem, and should seek for help. Gambling is very fun, but it can be very dangerous when you lose money, so if you are gambling or you want to start, set an amount you are willing to spend and stick to it. A real friend would not borrow you money for you to gamble, he would help you to stop gambling.

I think you are exaggerating or not seeing all the scenarios at least. Yes that could be the case, people could be borrowing because they have a problem, and in that case a real friend would try to help him with his problem. But it could also be, that someone has proved his skills (poker or betting skills in my opinion), and could just be trying to increase his bankroll fast to win even more. In that case I would have no problem investing money on that person.

I agree with you. Setting an amount you are willing to spend and stick with it win or lose. I did that when I was younger. Just the money in my pocket and no more. Not taking any more money from my wallet just the pocket. And it works good thing is I won.  Grin
