Information on the media today is very much. I only believe 50% in the news. Because that information has been passed on to many people and not true to the original. But the news gives me a broader understanding. I can see how the world is now. I could know the farthest places like Antarctica where there are penguins, or siberia through the news.

Yes, before where there is no information taken on the internet, everything that I saw on tv news are seemed true. Then these days, when you see another side of the story, you will realized that news are somewhat shows what they only wanted you to see.  They will show the things that will be like interested and sparks emotions.  Something like they will make more money to it.  I also do not believe things I saw on the internet.

the news will mostly be bias and fake. now I just rely on social medias when it comes to news.
Wow.

There is no reason to "believe" the news strictly talking. There is not a single journal or website out there that isn't biased, some are more than others though.

If you wish for objective news, or at least to maximize the objectivity of your interpretation, the best is still to gather information from multiple, clearly differentiated news. Of course they must all be reliable (in the sense than The Guardian is reliable, relatively to, let's say a random conspiracy theory website).
Also "free" news is cancer.

The only way nowadays to get efficient and relevant news is to pay to access a journal's website, for example.

No, it's a pure propaganda, benefiting the paying parties. All news belongs to the wealthiest and most influential people, specially people of the Government, so expect that the news will mostly be bias and fake. now I just rely on social medias when it comes to news.

Or do you think media is independent ?
The thing is to know how to distinguish from facts and not. You need to educate yourself so you will know where to stand with the issues that the news are trying to say. Some of these news exaggerates and some add fake details or invent stories.

All mass media belong to one or another influential people. I prefer to double-check the news on different resources, and it is even better to divide the opinion of the news into two.

Its hard to answer, we know in the lead up to the election, there is a purely neutral or independent media that also defends some political parties. there are even made media deliberately declare certain political parties that win the election. These happen in some country.

News is somewhat a complementary source of knowledge however does not necessarily state the concrete and comprehensive facts. For me, news is just a starting point and I should do the rest of research myself; most of the time, news is simply entertainment because of the bogus it contains.

News is most times biased! And when ever there's a digging into to find out the real truths, lives might be lost. Most times, news on TV are always there to tell us the obvious. The idea that they with old information and also regulating the extent of which they expose information. I don't like that part of getting information in bits when it's their sole responsibility to inform the public.

Actually, I don't believe all the news because there are some news that are misleading and will make us confused in everything especially when talking about politics.

Not nowadays. Every outlet seems to be pro-someone or the other. No one is truly independent. Maybe that was the case in the past too, but now it has become so outrageously blunt that its hard to see it any unbiased views. Further, news shows now cater to opinions, ie, they present the facts in a manner which will strongly opinionate you, and thats creating rifts already in society.

I don’t believe in the some news like political topic in the news because it is more than biased happened.  We should receive the news from the various sources to compare the content of news.
I used to watch the news every time but now i see that the media houses are only broadcasting what they believe to be true in their eyes and nothing more. And the news is mostly filled with tragedies and i think i have enough of that already to jeep looking out for more.

Right. Even watching it on tv, you can feel the one sidedness of most news nowadays. And it's good that we have social media roght now like facebook because we can actually get both sides of the story. And really, if you analyze it, you'll see that it's not worth listeningnto what the news is telling us most of the time
