I don't consider gambling as trading. Trading need time to spent because you need to see what is now happening in the coin that you buy or you want to buy. Well there's some ways especially if your not online, you can set your buy/sell anytine then you just need to wait to filled in your order.

Gambling is depends to your luck wether anytime that you want to gamble you can do that but in trading is not and also your money in gambling is 50/50 unlike in trading that you can selll your money without only just a small lose.

Trading a bunch of money will have to require a bunch of patience and that is what some of the people within this forum don't have. If there was a stock that allow people to make a bunch of money each day and the money was at least double the amount that they put in then I would trade instead of gamble in this case.
Gambling has a large risk so I wouldn't call it the same as trading because trading is usually filled with information that helps the price go in your favor.
If you know how to trade and acquire the skills of a good trader it is surely a bunch of profit but if not the result is losing and panic selling or buying of altcoins that is frequently occurs in the people who are lack of skills and knowledge how to come up with those movements.
Yes ,thats what trading is a full of information for you to earn unlike gambling we can play with or without experience.
Yes Trading needs more experience to become a professional in Trading. A panic selling or buying new coins to make a profit will not become pro trader. We must have proper knowledge before doing and trade. And we must have some patience to wait for right time to sell or buy coins. Then only we can become a perfect trader.

Trading requires hours and hours of analysis to execute successfully.  Long-term trading is even harder.  Successful traders don't just mess around and hope that they succeed.

It was almost the same but very different, equally as issued capital and risk, but only varanya a different course if gambling must have a way he did, in their trade should have a good marketing that attracts many devotees

I don't understand what you mean is because gambling and trading do not depend on the same line because trading is completely different from gambling. If you learn minimum skills about trading then you will find less risk in trading when compared to gambling.
I am not sure if trading have less risk rather than gambling.
As i think both trading and gambling will have same risk when you do it regularly in the long run.
Trading even has more pressure when you do it in big scale , you will always feel have to make profit without cutloss.
Its just your own belief but when you tried out to learn about trading then your views will surely change, trading does really have the risk on losing money but comparing it to gambling would depend on how you perform trading and if you jump to trade without any proper knowledge then the risk would be the same on making gambling but once you do know on what you are doing you will surely minimize the risk.
How to make we all know to trade properly based on knowledge etc huhhh?
I have spent a lot of times to learn how to trade not baseless , but based on a lot of factors.
But hey here i am still struggling make profit and just make me think there is no difference with gambling.

If you invest in any altcoin without doing any research then it will be same as gambling as you don't have any knowledge about it and you are depending only on luck that price will pump and you will be making profits from it but it usually doesn't happens.

I agree this is called blind trading where the trader have no idea about the market he is trading and is considered as gambling itself.  But if we really look at the way how trading goes, it is far from gambling since the option and function of trading is way different than the function and option of gambling.  So I do not consider a true trading as gambling.
Probably, and there is no fun in trading when you are blindly doing it, I would say the ending will also a lose since you are not making an effort to improve your chances of success. Trading is risky also like gambling, and since you gamble with your prediction, it's good to ensure that your prediction has a solid basis.

Yes i do still consider trading as gambling.Because they are just the same, trading is offering a slowly but more surely earnings rather than gambling that high risk of lossing.I consider all things i do gambling when i put money on it,i dont even know if i will going to profit there or im just gonna lose it so i consider it as a gamble

Most of the people saying that gambling is being considered as trading and vice versa. I consider them to be different but with the same in taking risk, chance of winning and strategy. They have similarity but I'm not going to consider both of them anymore as the same, they've got their very own part and meaning that makes them different.

Of course they are different from each other and the different is huge as one doesn't require any knowledge or skills and only thing you need is a luck and on the other hand skills and strategies will play a key role in making profits and it is not purely luck based.
It depends on the gambler itself, gambling would need us to be lucky to win but there are people who can certainly make consistent money in gambling and I'm pretty sure they are very smart enough and they do not rely on luck. Typical gamblers do rely on luck because we believe that is only our chances and we know it would not give us a long term success so it's better to concentrate in trading if that is what you are looking for.

That's right if you are a typical gambler and depending only on luck to win money then its better to switch to trading instead of wasting time and money in gambling as majority of the times you not be winning and will donate your hard earned coins to the casino houses.

Yup, it's true that gambling can give an advantage to us, but we need to know and beware of is on the level of addiction that might just happen to ourselves. Because gambling is not just a matter of advantage but a matter of the mind we sometimes can think of something we actually don't think or in other words gambling could make us into someone who is greedy and no matter against around. would indeed be much better when he wanted to do a trading profit and gambling for pleasure

Trading can never be like gambling. Gambling if you keep going to will lose. Trading if you keep going you will learn and maybe lose but never lose all. With trading you may think you lose but later the price will hike and you win. Gambling there is no second chance. Trading needs skill and patience. Gambling is luck only.
if you talking about trading on cryptocurrency then i guess you are wrong , there a lot of scamcoin traded in difference exchanges , you have a high chance to lost it all just like gambling , but when talking about trading in general , you might have sevaral good point.

people just think more proud called as trader rather than a gambler right? that is the contrast difference.

i think before we want to buy a coin, we need to choose with the right coin and i don't think that this is a gambling too because when we decide to buy the coins, we need to make analyze and we need to decide the price we buy and sell. i think trading is more profitable than gambling if we are know how to trade and how to analyze the coins.
then how about sportsbetting that required analysis to make an accurate prediction?

it is pretty similar to trading right? both have to be analyzed and have a purpose to make money. people too much talking non sense about how to compare these gambling trading , make it simple . as long as there a lot of same thing on both of them then you can consider it as a same thing.

I think that most people are fool to still comparing between gambling and trading. There are alot of differences and it is not worth even to compare. I kinda wonder whats the correlation of comparing it with increasing your chance of successing to win? it has no direct or indirect relation to win in gambling

Gambling can be considered as real business too. The reality about these days, gambling isn't treated that way anymore, about that happiness, fun and luck that you are saying. People are treating it right now as a method of earning same with trading. Many are considering gambling is trading because of the same idea of it, taking up the risk.

Gambling is not trading for sure and there is no way for people to mix that up. Gambling is gambling while trading is not really gambling, those are the differences . I feel that so many people think that both is the same , because people think that both require luck however gambling purely require luck unlike trading

Yes, gambling isn't trading and they are totally different. I'm talking about their similarity with the risk and that's the only thing that we can consider for the both of them. But when it comes to everything that they've got and it's characteristics they are completely different. And there are games that aren't requiring pure luck.
I disagree with you. Every game has elements of luck. If it was not what lost the game. What is the interest of the game if you know in advance the result?
I agree ,however gambling is not a pure luck because sometimes especially in people to people mind and skill match it needs not only luck even you have the luck if your opponent was mindful aboit and knows how to trick you with his move you will lose.
Trading is just like that even you have luck if you can't win with your opponent on manipulation in trades you will lose. So it not always luck ,Skill is a must.

I don't know why people are generalizing gambling as a game of luck. To give you an additional information, there are games that are actually depending on luck but don't forget that there are games that need skills and other requirements just like trading. And that is making them considerable as the same but still many of us here thinks that they are different, we have our different perceptions.

Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley
Yes if I am going to blind trading when I have no background in that coin but I will buy that and trade it that is gambling for me. But mostly no because trading need strategy and knowledge the more the knowledge you have the more you lessen the risk to loss  in that trade.

i think for some people, trading is like gambling but with some learning that we search and we read lesson about trading, then i think it will not same as gambling. but if we don't have any info in trading and we only buy randomly, then i think its the same as we do gambling in trading and soon we can not make profit as we are in stuck in that coins.

If you invest in any altcoin without doing any research then it will be same as gambling as you don't have any knowledge about it and you are depending only on luck that price will pump and you will be making profits from it but it usually doesn't happens.
yeah you are right that if you invest your money in trading without research then you will must face risk, so i think good knowledge about trading is very important and if get some experience and get some knowledge then we will be able to minimize the risks in trading and we will make a good profit in trading.

If you are expecting to make profits from trading then best thing would be to learn the basics of trading and there are many videos available that will give you proper guidance of how to start trading so its better to spend some time there and learn how trading works.
