I watch them for fun not to compare myself from them. I sometimes get some terminologies I commonly don't hear every day. Of course you will think "how envious of them, how I wish I could do those things too", or "I'm at this age and I'm still a mess compared to them". If those things affect your mental health, then you should look for other videos rather than watching them just to be stressed out. I often times watch Graham on his youtube channel reviewing those with captioned "a daily life of..." for fun not to be discourage or be stressed. As they say this world is unfair, and it is true to some extent, coz not everyone is given the same resources and conditions like what we've watched on the videos. Imagine them starting trading at young age having $500 on their accounts, me when I was young? I'd be lucky to even get $20 a month utilizing all the resources I have and use that amount to start trading. What's more? Before I could invest that money, I still needed to reach a certain amount to avail minimum requirement to open an account in the bank, plus there're still fees and some other requirements that is not that easy to get. As I've said earlier, not everyone starts at the same starting line, for them it is easy to say "save your $5 so you can invest and start trading", but for me? it is almost worth 2 weeks of hard work and grind. One thing I've realized from being poor is that, if you keep on comparing yourself to others who're already successful, you'll eventually find yourself more and more stressed by finding more flaws on yourself and you will start to complain and mentally exhaust yourself disturbing your decision making.

The captions from these videos can be exaggerated to make one feel like they are not doing enough. Asides some of these videos being scripted for views, you should not compare your one step with the 1000th step of another person. Some of these traders who are very successful and rich from trading did not just start yesterday, What you see is a product of years of hard work and continuous learning. It can be intimidating, but you should take solace in thinking that you are getting there someday. Watch these videos and create in your mind the idea of what you want for yourself in the future, put in my mind, so you can attract those things to yourself.
Because the majority of these traders are also YouTubers and content producers working hard to increase their views and content on social media, these videos are either made for viewers or for other viewers. When I first started watching these videos, I used to get discouraged because I felt intimidated by the enormous profits they were making on each trade but later learn that they have been in the space for a decade, that clear out all my doubts about the space. I began striving harder because I wanted to be like them. However, as it turns out, everyone has their own trading style, and the accountant size is enormous. Discipline, effort, and reliability are paramount in this environment. To reach daily trading goals, one must be focused; initially, this may not be simple, but over time, one will get more and more motivated to do so.

As a small bitcoin trader, I feel intimidated rather than inspired when watch certain YouTube or Social Media titles or content like "Day in the Life of a Young Millionaire Trader in Dubai" or "Day In The Life of a 23 Year Old Making $10,000 a Day", or "A Day In The Life of a Crypto Trader" etc. They feature young millionaire traders in beautiful places or traders who make thousands of dollars and to be honest, it creates a feeling of inadequacy or distress in me because I am yet to reached those levels of success yet. However, I have begun to avoid them and what I do is to focus on my own trading goals and aspirations. As a small bitcoin trader, have you ever felt intimidated, distressed, inadequate or inspired after watching these types of videos or content?
I never felt intimidated because I know exactly what it’s like to be a trader, and definitely it’s not easy but very hard especially for beginner traders. However, once you develop your skill in trading and master the strategies, then it’s really possible that you could earn huge profits through trading and earn millions. There are already successful traders these days and I’m certainly happy of whatever they achieved. The reason why I am also working on my own so I can be something like them, hopefully in the future.

Their advice tends to be general because of taking a narrow perspective (usually only based on their own experience), so you shouldn't take all the motivations that are raised. It depends on which starting line you're at and what preferences you have. I mean, there are some of them who start success from scratch with family backing up financially. So it's not a problem for them even though they'll fail many times.
General means not only in trading? But isn't it great? It was like a complete package. Not only that we can be good at trading, we can also be good at our life outside. Motivations are never a bad thing. They are not bad advices but someone says that too much of it and then not applying it can still be useless.

Well, that was true because we are only wasting our time watching and listening to them. Those who got a support from their family are lucky but I know many of us are not like that. Sometimes our family is the one who prevents us from doing what we love but if we truly have a passion for one thing, we must do anything even though we will leave our family behind.

You should not avoid them or feel disturbed nor depressed when you watch them. They should give you encouragement instead because you are seeing the reality of the positive side of trading if you get your strategy right. The guys in YouTube that you watch are whale traders trading with a lot of capital so you can expect that their winning should be in large figures, but they also lose hugely but may not show that to you. If you are a small trader and you are having consistent profit no matter how small they are then you know you can get bigger with time. You can feel discouraged if you are not making even little profit as a small trader.

I agree with you, that they prioritize what they experience. That's actually not wrong because indeed experience is very important for a process until finally they can be successful in trading. But not only that, I very often find that they flaunt their success so that others are tempted by what they experienced. And then they open a class about trading, usually on their private channel (you have to pay if you want to join). In my opinion, this is used as a business field for them to make a profit from members who register. I've entered a group like this, and the content in my opinion is not very useful because the things I get there are basic things that I can learn without having to pay.

Never believe everything you watch, read, or listen to on the internet. The internet is where people flaunt fake live style and portay who they are not. They do this for the likes, the shares, the follows, the admiration, to promote or sell their content, and to massage their egos while in reality they are struggle or not as successful as they claim to be.

I have watched a lot of these videos and compared it with other real life traders it doesn't add up at all. I do not doubt that there crypto millionaires who are living large, but it is not like those who flaut it claim it is.

If you are coming from a disadvantaged background, it is okay to feel this way. But when you carry our an introspection and take stock of your trading journey you will see that you aren't doing so bad yourself. And this is where you should draw your inspiration and drive from to keep moving.

Yes, I have. And I sometimes watch it on purpose just to fantasize or add to the mental picture I have about how my life would be if I stay consistent.

Not inspired, I am sure of that. Somehow jealous.  Grin
I don't really like watching these things as I don't want to be a greedy person but I did bump into them sometimes due to the recommended feature of the known streaming service. Once you watch Etoro clips, and others related to it, these other streamers will start to pop out.

The same with you, I'd like to make my own strategy when it comes to trading. It doesn't matter if sometimes it goes south as long as I can also be proud of the profits because I did it myself and did not rely on other people's techniques. Pride is definitely evil.  Grin But it feels better when you reap the rewards of your own hard work.

I did not know those kind of videos existed, which should show how much I care about them, however as an example if someone else has a lot more bitcoin than I do, I only think that this is good for them and then I immediately move on.

The moment you begin to compare yourself to someone else then you will always come up short, as there will always be someone with more money, and even if somehow you made it to the very top and no one else had more money than you there could always be some things you could desire you had from other people, and since this does not really help us in our development as traders or investors I do not see the need to use our limited time and energy on it.

I choose not to watch those traders' content that shows their big profits since even if they did those big trading profits with pure trading skills, nothing gonna change the fact that they are just likely for a purpose of gaining viewers and adding subscribers.

I am more likely to watch traders' content related to educational purposes since even if there's a purpose of gaining viewers, it's good to watch content that can feed our minds and not just watch how much money these traders are making for trading.

We have different views though regarding that matter but I will stand to my own.

If we focus on their result and achievement, yes, it is realistic if we sometimes feel uncomfortable with it. Because we commonly only can enjoy a small number of profits. But this is a trading world, where people with higher amounts of capital will also commonly will earn much higher profits. Moreover, if they have the professional skill and understanding, big amount, and also completed advanced tools and equipment. This will lead them to have a bigger chance to earn profits. But, should we be intimidated? Be calm and patient mate. Everyone has their era to be great in trading. You can take this as one of the reasons why you must be more serious in trading, to be smarter and better at trading. So, who knows that we someday can be one of them? haha

Most of them are cons, scammers, shills looking for views from YouTube and probably get paid to shill more shitcoins to newbies... There is no way I can feel inspired by such kinds of people. The good thing is that it's so easy to identify such con artists just by looking at the way they present their videos

Most will want you to join using their referral links or join a certain trade coaching class for a fee. If someone is rich as they claim, then why are they looking to earn a few dollars using referral links?

Its just jealousy and being that envy on what they had become and this is why we do feel about being intimidated or distressed rather than on having that inspired kind of perception.Just accept that there are people who are cherishing out their lifes or on what they had reached because they did really took the risks on engaging with trading whether those are not real or a real one then
we dont really have something to do.Make these things to be an inspiration to make yourself more better but of course dont rush things up because things doesnt
really work on this way.

I have not been intimidated seeing stories like this because for sure, these are done for a set goal. And to think that some are making it exaggerated, so I don’t have to be distressed or become annoyed in it. Because as much as I know trading, it’s never easy to earn profits, you should need the skills and knowledge first so you can expect profits in trading. And you have to be patient as well, as those who never have much patience in trading have end up quitting and lose their funds.

It gives me more motivation and encouragement knowing that I can be something like that in the future. But when you experience what real trading is all about, you will realize that trading is never easy, it has its own highs and lows, and if your are weak and dull, you will never succeed in trading. So I’ve come to realized that youtube videos are not all true, some are just done because they are forced to do so since they are making a good income from it.

Honestly, it gives me more inspiration to thrive more because if they can be successful with trading, then the more I am more capable to. Regardless if those stories are fabricated or not, I do not mind as long as I will keep working on my own goal so I can be successful later on. After all, our success will only determine as to how tough and dedicated we are as traders by not letting some pressures affect our positive mindset.

When life gets hard BUY Bitcoin!
Neither intimidated nor inspired is what I’m feeling because I don’t compared my life achievement with others. Comparing to them or inspiring them will make my future limited on what others did and not on what I really want. We have different path and unique life achievements. It’s just a waste of time watching streams that boasting wealth because we don’t get anything from while they are getting money from our views.

Despite the fact that I don't want to sound racist, the extravagant display or spending of wealth is a peculiar feature of some races. You rarely see Germans, Chinese, and Jews showing off their wealth, this is more common among the young men though. Bitcoin made some people rich overnight, while others mishandled it until they lost everything owing to their lavish lifestyles. Make sure you don't learn the wrong things from those guys; learn how to build wealth, plan your finances for the long term, and keep your standard of living low.
