Honestly, we cannot brag about it in front of anyone even if we have a "good career" in it. Like you said, casinos have a bad image.

the best feeling when you go to casino are when you bring a lot friends and play it for completely fun and nothing more than that. just make the day full of laugh , winning the jackpot or any other big amount just a bonus , i would say. that time the real gambling are happened , not like when you gamble online lay in your bed like an unemployed and lazy person . i would go there if only there's a lot of friends with me.

It still depends to the gambler if he is confident inside of it then he will be fine. But with my experience it's really not for me and that's why I don't want to go back there anymore because it's just going to pull all of my money.

For me I quit land based casinos a long time ago, my game there was just roulette but niw almost all the sport gambling websites have integrated virtual roulette into their websites and so I practice martingale there from time to time.

I live in Hong Kong so I pop over to Macau every once in a while. It is a soulless fucking shit hole. There is absolutely nothing to do there but gamble. They do have some very nice restaurants, but other than that, you can't compare the nightlife of Macau to Vegas.
Gambling is pretty serious over there. A single minimum bets on the blackjack tables of the big casinos such as the hardrock or the venitian are usually $500 HKD ($65USD). This seriously sucks because most people can't afford just sit down and fuck around/socialize/have fun for a few hours at the tables.

There are pros for land based casinos, but there are a lot of cons as well, you need to interact with people that are drunk or under the influence of some substances and most of the time that is not something nice, drinks sometimes are free but most of the time drinks are not free, and now you need to pay for overpriced drinks or food.

Usually when we are gambling in a land based casino we need to have a good amount of money to enjoy, also the result most of the time is we lose because games in casinos has a house edge. I would love to try poker but I think I would not win in a casino, I just played it online for fun and that's it, in online games there are a lot of available games, I do play dice and sports betting as well and that is on a regular basis with my budgeted money.

People stil go to land based casinos in the age when everything is online. Its won't give you the same satisfsction of being physically there when betting, aside from seeing who you're playing with instead of just seeing avatars.

Seeing who you are really playing can be a big advantage in a game like poker where everything they do can give you a greater insight in the way they are playing or what they may have in their hand, and that is something impossible to do when you are playing in an online casino.

Land based casinos? Are those the one’s located at theme parks or like a pop up casino? Anyways all the casinos that I've been through are all located at land and I've never been through any casino on a ship or floating casino. The usual casinos that I have visited are from the casinos located at a mall and usually around past midnight due to the number of people playing are high and tables can easily be filled up with players unlike in the morning where only a few people plays and you will need to wait sometimes for someone to play against you.

I really had a good experience this past weekend playing at a land based casino. I went to play slots, on Saturday and I think I lost a few.
