I am still hodling based on the fact that bitcoin has been speculated to pumps massively in few years to come, I have to keep that faith having been motived by those holders in the previous years who kept their faith until bitcoin reached $20K late last year thus becoming an Instant millionaires.

I wonder if you HODL  Cheesy you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much already so you don't see any reason to sell because you won't be satisfied with the money you will cash out?
I have this self-conflict for a few months already

I simply follow strictly "You only lose if you sell it". It makes me feel better on my decision Grin

I think both.

I had bought Enumivo RAM, didn't sold when i was in profit. Later realized there was calculating mistake and i was in much bigger profit than i calculated. Now at loss.

I have little hope that things will turn around and i will at least get my initial amount back.

I believe HODLing is what I was brought here for. Even though I often sell my Bitcoin to buy irl stuff, but it doesn't mean I don't HODL. In my vision, Bitcoin is merely the same as any other currency. You sell it when you need to buy stuff, and you HOLD it when you don't have anything to buy. It doesn't necessarily mean I'd sell all my Bitcoin everytime I have something to buy tho. I use my Bitcoin whenever I don't have any fiat left in my wallet.

All in all, I HODL because I just don't need to spend it at the moment.

Everyone has their own reason to hold bitcoin but for me I choose to hold because I still believe in Bitcoin and its development. I have a confidence on bitcoin, Bitcoin will soon be fine and no more red. All we need to do is wait for its good news.

In investment there will be a price movement, where we will always see a price decline and will be followed by a price increase next time. That is why we must have extensive knowledge of what we invest and be able to hold emotions, so that we can be patient waiting for rising prices that will ultimately benefit through the investment we live in. Seeing the decline in prices this year, I chose to hold back, because I believe that there will be times when a surge in price increases can give me the opportunity to sell by gaining profits according to what I have hoped for.

Holding crypto assets can only mean either you lost too much, you believe the price will go up again, or you are just simply holding it for a couple of years because you believe that it will have a better base price if you able to keep it for years.

Unfortunately, I belong to the number of investors who have lost a lot due to the fact that Bitcoin has fallen in price and now I can only wait for the price to rise

I hodl because I believe that I will win on long run, price for now is not good but I believe in saying that holders always win, if you are a panic seller you are not welcome in this field, this field is only for a risk taker who are willing to loose their money, I think the questionnaire was afraid on the current market situation.

I invest in long-term because I am sure that in the future the price will increase very much and will give everyone the opportunity to earn huge money
Right.I want to HODL because i still believe that this red market will not surely remain forever. The market will turn to green again as the price will skyrocket if not this year, hopefully by next year.So even if i lose already,i would not resort into panic selling right now because for sure,it will make me lose even more.

For I am still holding because I believe that bitcoin's price will ho ip and rise again. Remember that in this industry you need to invest not only money but a lot of patience amd hard work. You need to wait. Because all we know that bitcoin is like business investment when you rush everything all of your hardwork and capital will be loss. For those who are holding their bitcoin because they are already lost to much I thimk bitcoi  is not for them. Because they dont have any passion on what are they doing and all they want is for income but when you do bitcoin with youf heart and great strategies you will be rewarded.

Good question.

I hold because I'm a shit trader and almost always make the wrong decision. No doubt if I was a twitchy bugger I would've sold at $1000 thinking I was a genius and sat watching it run away.

I got into this expecting to sit and do not much until 2020. By that point I was expecting it to have started to fulfil its potential and it's certainly looking that way. Ideally I'd never need to sell but that day is still quite a way away if I want to get about and spend stuff.

I will hold my assets as long as possible. I don't want to lose more because the crypto price is far below the price when I started investing. at present, releasing assets is not the most appropriate solution if the crypto situation in the trading market is very bad. and releasing assets will worsen crypto conditions and make me experience huge losses.

I keep bitcoin because at one point it can become the main payment instrument anywhere in the world. I really see a huge potential in this invention and this potential is more positive. We all need to make an effort to preserve bitcoin.

The point is the same you are holding because you already lose some of your money, meaning the action is to hold and wait for the price to come up again in the market because you have the belief that the price will be good soon.
The point is if they sell it at loss then they will lose their investments because they were just so weak-handed who always falls in FOMO. But if they know how to handle the situation in the market and is very persistent to avoid loses then they could that bitcoin for a long time as long as for the sake of good profits.
