Though most the review site are paid so its really tough to say which one is reliable but at least from my point of view icobench is much more reliable than others but once again look before you leap.

Fast, Smart, Trustworthy
I recommend that you do not trust any ICO rating website. Investment is your own business. What you need to do is to strengthen your knowledge and learn to judge the ICO project yourself!

Hi all,

i was wondering if you have any reliable website to take advice for which ico are good or not.

If yes please give me a heads up.

Thank you for your time reading this.

Regards.

I don't have reliable website to share because I believed that most of the reviews that you are seeing are all paid. Meaning they are shills to make the project look good in paper so that it can attract investors.

I don't know about @ICOBench though, You can read all about in this experiment: https://medium.com/alethena/this-is-how-easy-it-is-to-buy-ico-ratings-an-investigation-13d07e987394

What would be a good way to find a good ico group that does their due diligence?
Dont look for an ICO group. They will just give you the ICO that they are supporting.

You say diligence? Start it on yourself by doing DYOR.

I really like icodog.io  they are ICO community, with lot of services like university, pools, ico reviews etc. these are for free (apart from pools) but to access their reviews you don’t even need an account, just check „top rated“ section. Important note, use any reviews you find online only as a starting point to your own research, otherwise you might get burnt...

The best advise I can give you is to not fully trust those sites, as they will tend to be bias. Instead, find your local group that are into ICOs and join them. You will soon get the pattern on how they choose their ICO and you can track their success rate. You can then follow their pattern in the meantime while you're building your confidence doing it yourself.

Hi wvizmanos. What do you mean when you say local group into ICO's? Thanks in advance! Dave the newbie  Wink

As you dig deeper you will discover that there are groups out there, be it telegram, messenger etc, that are focused in ICOs. In my case I was fortunate to find this group that is exclusive to my nationality, hence local.

ICO review sites are ok for finding out about new ICOs. But don't base your decision on their ratings.

Always do your own research.

Understand the business model, does it make sense to have blockchain/crypto built into it?

does the team have experience in what they are doing? Startup experience, leading companies, experience in the space they're in as well as a good understanding of blockchain.

Is there community engaged? Just because an ICO has 50k members in its telegram doesn't make it good (you can buy those numbers) it's better to spend time in that group, ask questions, things that aren't clear about the project and generally observe the interactions.

because they also included the voting choice if it's fake or real
Without any protection against botting, which makes the voting system useless.

I also noticed that they have "Sponsored Events" (according to their advertising page) that puts any ICO on the front page as the first option (price per day: $1500 the first day and $1000 per additional day). Which again like I said... makes the site totally unreliable since anyone can "bribe" them to make an ICO look legitimate.

ICObench.com is one of the sites you can use to form PART of your research, you still need to conduct your own research. As mentioned already, you shouldn't wholeheartedly trust any review site and should always do your own due diligence.
ICObench.com would help you but don't depend ICObench's result as your own money is at risk better do your own information gathering about the ICO itself and better think ICObench as one of the sources you can get about their reviews and information if it provide some.
