I have android and I dont like how it works, I use it only when i need to. I prefer doing things on lap top. I dont know how it is on iOs but i bet that is better then on android.
I think android have a lot of work to do before they start to be good, I will continue to use it just when i have to and when my lap top isnt near. And i just hope they will be better in future, or I will need to buy some ios.. yes that cost a bit more, but I think it will worth.

I find doing transactions in bitcoin using my phone pretty amusing. There is a bitcoin atm near my workplace and whenever I need to have some quick cash, I just scan the qr code and I can now get my cash. Pretty neat to use it and that's one of the best things I like in using bitcoins.

My personal opinion is that they really do not matter.  When the programs are designed, most designers keep the same general look for the application between both apps, this way everyone is comfortable with each version and familiar with them both if they should ever need to change between versions.

Bitcoin transaction in ios device is better for me,its more secure i think, ios wust connected itunes, and just little damage from any malware, its different with android,it too many connected with google accounts, and that why i choose ios device for bitcoin transaction.

i would reccomend ios for security, they rarely got hacked as i know, but because the phone was too damn expensive android is my alternative
Why is ios less likely to be hacked than android?

I don't know how less likely it is. I know that Apple's Appstore scans all the codes in the apps your download. If you have an unrooted iOS device and only download apps from Appstore, your iphone/ipad is less likely to contain malware. Google do not scan the codes of the apps on Play store. Apart from that, I have heard that apps on iOS are isolated from each other, they cannot read the data of other apps.

I do think mobiles are more vulnerable to hacks.

Not neccessarily, thats why I use a ledger with my mycelium app, not less secure than on a pc.

I like using mobile phones to make transactions because it has a camera to grab are codes. I do think mobiles are more vulnerable to hacks.

Don't like both of those. I prefer to choose desktop wallet rather than mobile wallet.

My reason is for security. I think desktop is more secure than mobile for now.

There is plenty of choice on Android if one wants to use bitcoin and go for transactions. I personally use Mycelium which I find very handy, simple and secure. But I saw also Copay which seems the easiest BTC wallet ever created so far.
As of now I'll stick to Mycelium.

I prefer to use Android, because I do not like Apple products.

I use greenaddress for small amounts, and a Ledger with Mycelium for the rest.

Works as intended...

Not a fan of it for multiple reasons, first phones are rarely as secure as PC's and many people tend to forget it's like a PC for being vulnerable for hacking, secondly it is rarely as private as PC since you actually link all your phone data to your BTC, also it requires trust in an intermediate host than typical no centeral authority BTC clients.

The idea of storing a larger amount of btc on my phone scares me. So i've only used the android app to test out an ATM machine once.
