With everything that's happening, do you like the Ethereum project and its derivates, slock.it and DAO?

Yes, or No?

do I like ethereum?
yes, I love it. it is an altcoin with a lot of hype so pump and dump and as a trader I love nothing more than a good pump which helps me make more bitcoin.

do I like the project?
I don't care about the project. I thought it is good at first and that is why I have bought in the early stages of release (this and the amount of hype) but ever since they started bashing bitcoin and spreading fud and spam to pump the coin I didn't follow the project anymore.

the derivatives are also good as long as I can catch them before pump and make more bitcoin. nothing else!

Ethereum has never bashed Bitcoin - infact the complete opposite.

I mine the Ethereum to convert it to bitcoin. But I still hold 10-30% of the mined coins. I reckon it has future.

Why do you need Ethereum when you already have bitcoins?

No, I don't like Ethereum. People are using smart contracts for gambling and ponzi purposes. The founder isn't bothered to give $300 a month for hosting a community forum. In fact, they even said that ethereum could crash themselves.

Really?

Yes, really. Respect my opinions please.

Here's my answer, I've made 10x the amount of my bitcoin holdings when I joined the Ethereum crowdsale. Not bad huh?

Yes, you may have profited from the crowdsale. That's good for you.

But now it's different. We are trading at 0.02+ a coin. I simply don't believe that Ethereum has the potential to outperform BTC in the long term.

Ethereum isn't trying to beat Bitcoin as a currency/money.

But they are targeting a huge market that has the potential to grow bigger than Bitcoin - until Bitcoin achieves a greater market share in the world of money.

If they pass Bitcoin in value it doesn't mean Bitcoin will die (or that it has been "beat") - though I believe it is possible for people to choose Eth over BTC simply because of the insanely fast confirmation rate.

Yes Bitcoin can do this and that.. But are Bitcoin devs pushing it to the max? Are they trying as hard as the Ethereum team?

People are using smart contracts for gambling

Doesn't that make it the most useful crypto out there?

I mean, Bitcoin is stable and has a lot of hashpower behind it, but it doesn't actually "do" anything different than 1000 other coins.

So what?  Ethereum is something new and could be one of the most interesting social experiments we've seen in the modern age.  While Bitcoin is being strangled by bankster-like people, taking away the things we love about it.
