Yes, I like short videos. But the problem is that once you start watching a short video, you don't realize when the 2-3 hours have passed. So I try to avoid short videos.

Almost everyone has the habit. Smart phones, social media, online content attract people's attention very quickly. As much as you know it's wasting time, they flow through us so quickly that time flies before it can stop itself.

Short videos are fun to watch. I'm glad there are a lot of instructional ones now too, like for cooking recipes. You don't have to skim through 5 minutes of introduction before they get to the actual content.

Yea short videos can be informative and helpful which I like watching short videos rather spend so much time watching movies. But I think there should be a rules like reviews to what people uploads on different platforms. Because so videos can be so annoying with no value and information. Just end up wasting time and data. So I’ll say let there be a rules guiding content creators. If after reviewing the content and it’s not meaningful, then it should be allowed yo be uploaded.

Ohh yea you are right, I do like and enjoy short videos too, it conveys the message very fast without getting the viewers bored. When an information is to be conveyed to the general public, it is not done through longer videos as we all know, so short videos will be a better the way since alot of people have a short attention span.
Also, with a short video in form of advert or an intro gets you more interested in seeing the longer video of it, your attention is drawn, by then the viewers are convinced the longer video is not there is waste their time. There it becomes clear that people generally don't subscribe to a wasted time on a longer video then want to get convinced it is not a wasted 2 , 3 hours or more. This conviction they will only get by seeing a shorter video.

Yes, I like it too, but it makes everyone addicted very easily, when I watch short videos and it doesn't let me quit when I want to quit. And after hours passed I got out with great difficulty.

And frankly, it's a serious addiction. Once you start watching short videos, you never know when 1-2 hours are lost.
