I am also not much a fan of slot games. Some people love it. Maybe, it is because the results are quick in slot games. But it is all about luck. You just need to wait for the spin and it is really quick. I like games where I can have a little control over it. Slots are colors, sound and fun. But in my opinion/experience they are one of the gambling option with lowest winning probability.

I think something important missing here is that whatever the HE is, it is applied to all bets. So, the interest gets compounded, becoming much more than the initial HE.
