I don’t really like virtual reality, I cannot understand how people can spend their lives on games. But did you know that virtual reality can be useful for people who suffer from pain? Studies suggest that virtual reality therapy could reduce pain as well as potent drugs do. Research from California stated that patients that watched uplifting videos through virtual reality goggles had pain that dropped by 24%. Those with the most severe pain got the most relief. This therapy seems to work as well as or better than opioids. A new type of medical professional will emerge – a virtual therapist, who will assess patients and prescribe specific virtual reality experiences from sitting on a beach to flying in the skies.

It is quite interesting because it is becoming more and more indistinguishable from the actual reality.

I really like the idea and tried it once which was pretty fun but I think they are still at an early stage. As they develop more games or utilize it more properly in the existing games I can look to get myself one.

I remember the days when we would lose hours looking through our viewmasters and enjoying all sorts of vistas in 3d. these in a way are the precursors to today's virtual reality offerings. I don't necessarily like the active images being so close to our eyes , but, I really look forward to the new innovations that are sure to come.

I've seen an extremely cool VR application of a poker room lately. I think it was Pokerstars – you can find the poker room and casino on https://www.onlinecasinobetrug.net. There were a lot of interactions possible between the players at the table and it looked very real and entertaining. The only weak point was that the hand movements need practice before they do the right action (bet / check / fold). Also the VR device seems to be uncomfortable after a long session.

I don't really like it. Nothing can change me a real life and it's adventures. When something tries to take me out of reality (except art) I feel uncomfortable. But I take something from art and take nothing from v.r. It's useless, in my point of view.

Definitely one of the best technological creation ever made!

Totally, VR is applicable in all wakes of life, it takes gaming to the next level for instance.

Tried out some VR games, it was a fun experience but there is still a long way to go. Especially in terms of convenience, would be great to not have such bulky equipment. And in terms of immersiveness, but these are both improvements that will almost surely come in time.

I tried it in the mall once. It's an amazing experience. Got a little dizzy at first, but I guess that's normal for beginners. I think it has potential, but aren't the hardware super expensive?

Unfortunately, this technology is too crude. Although it has a very good potential. I sincerely believe that in my life I will be able to try a really high-quality product in which I can not distinguish reality from virtual reality.
