Alt station here plays the same 1 hour playlist over and over and over. -So that's out.
Rock is polluted by Nickleback-likes and I don't have the energy to be flipping the station every other song. -So that's out.
Classic stations are classic, thus heard 100+ times already, also have buffoon radio hosts chattering. -So that's out.
There's really just NPR out here unless you listen to auto-tuned pop country.

About to start route soon. Thanks for reminding me to take another look for SDcard radio transmitter.

Every time I enter a store
Or use a car although as some people have mentioned Ipod's and the sort are starting to become more prominent in vehicles
Radio is still around though more or less
Sometimes also at home although not using the TV (since they offer radio/audio only channels but with specialized equipment to listen to foreign radio)

Almost always. I listen to NPR, as I don't actually listen to music. I really do enjoy the BBC segments which allows me to be more informed about world issues.

Only when I'm forced to at work or in somebodies car etc. There is a few decent stations around, but I'd rather just listen to new albums I've found myself.

On the road, yes.

At home, only if there's a contest on (caller x wins tickets/cash/etc) or for traffic/severe weather/school closures.

Had Sirius/XM for a couple years. Would rather listen to my own playlist.
