Yes.I am the owner of 1BTC.Last year i was only owner of .30btc but this year i am owner of 1 Bitcoin. It has been possible for my trading life. trade changes my life. Waves and voice coin changed my life a lot. i earned huge amount of profit from those 2 coin few days ago.so why now i am owner of 1 Bitcoin.
I think some bitcoin investors are also putting their money on altcoins because because some alts do pump more than 100% even in just a day.
Like what you have mentioned, voise just pump again today and although the volume is still not big compared to bitcoin or other popular altcoins but when you get the right timing to sell you can surely increase your bitcoins.

I own a few BTC and they are my most prizes possessions.

They are true, convenient assets, instead of debt backed

I still dont have that much. I cash out my btc whenever I needed money. I would love to save but ofcourse I have to treat myself from all my hardworks. But before 2017 its my target to have 1 btc. I'm getting there step by step. If ever btc dips its value I will buy btc. Hopefully.

I own 0.87 btc so I am close enough Cheesy

I don't believe close enough is valid in bitcoin, only horseshoes and hand grenades. Either you above 1 BTC or you don't Tongue

I owned more than 20 bitcoins that i bought at the year of 2012 and to be honest that is only the leftover from my investment because most of my bitcoins are sold when the price already reaches $3k price mark and i am just waiting for the dip ranging from $1.5k to $2k and i will buy back again.

Smart, unless it never dips back t that and you have to buy higher. I experimented with shorting around the $1200 level, and I quickly realised I needed to get back in. I would say just Hold and wait long term rather than trading away your coins.

It's freaking 2017 and I lost almost 1 BTC already. I have a very bad luck on online casinos. I mostly lost compared to winning.
it is not yet over my friend, you may earn it again, just keep on earning it and you will be okay again, but be wise the next time you will play again to avoid losing too much, it is good for us to make some control so when we will be lose we will are not too much upset. play the amount that you will afford to lose buddy. dont give too much.

Indeed not all members save bitcoin, some of which always use bitcoin to meet the necessities of life.
If you need them for living I can't disagree with you. If you can "miss" the money I'd strongly suggest to save at least 1 as investment.

No, but I have more than 1 BTC in alts, and I short the alts against BTC, so from time to time I temporarily have over 1 BTC.

amazing that 46% in this community dont hold 1 BTC. It's not that expensive? only around $2k. I would have expected more in here having bitcoins in possesion
Agree, although for many people $2k is a lot. But glad to see a lot of new members here. For longer existing members I'm also surprised that they don't have at least 1 btc.

My answer would be yes if i have joined the bitcoin earlier before 2016. I would have 1 BTC if i didn't spend my savings till now,  but the thing is that  i can't save them, i usually spend my coins in different activities.

I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

My answer is no. The value of all my alts is equivalent to at least 1 BTC but since they are not into BTC so I have no bitcoin as of this time. But they are in an exchange platform. I can easily convert them anytime I want. In fact I always do. But not now since the implementation of BIP91 is still in progress.

I am amazed too. But it is justifiable. 2k dollars is not a little amount. Many people are struggling to have bitcoins by cheaper methods like joining bounty campaign etc. People want to have bitcoins but don’t have much capital. I would suggest them to keep working hard and soon they will get the reward. Moreover they should try to save money so that they can buy bitcoins when they dump.
