I don't own 1 btc yet. It is somewhat my goal but I don't have a set time or plan for when I will own 1 btc. Bitcoin is just something I like to do in my free time. The last year or so have been really busy for me with college and stuff. I'm trying to focus on that and whenever I'll have time, I'll show up here from time to time.

We are on the same league no matter how much i tried to save to get 1 bitcoin I ended up cashing it out to purchase or finance important necessities in life. But today I have a new goal and I am thinking of saving even small amount of satoshi just to get 1 bitcoin even if it takes me a year. This time I will be unstoppable and I will save my satoshis so I can have 1 bitcoin in my wallet for storage.

I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar

Yes i own 1 bitcoin and it comes from my profits in altcoin trading and also my profit in trading ethereum. For me it doesn't matter if a person own or didn't own 1 bitcoin because that is not a big deal because if you haven't reached that yet then work for it, be patient in working to reach that 1 bitcoin balance. You can do a lot of things to get that 1 bitcoin like signature campaign, freelance, trading and so much more.

i want to reach that but my earnings here are for my daily live needs, can you tutor me for a while? i think i can save some money too but not for long run  , i already wish this 1 btc saving balance on 2016 and still 2017 i doesn't have this shit. I love seeing people having a 1 bitcoin and waiting for the long run for bitcoin 2000$ rate as of this month. I want to know more skills, i apply my all intelligence via online like here in bitcointalk campaign, freelance for paying apps and trading Bitcoin to dollar ( vice versa)  and more on but still i cant get that 1 bitcoin savings!

You need time to collect it, I myself took two years with patience, I was initially same as you did, but I'm more daring little to invest in mining program and some programs are not wearing Ponzi scheme (HYIP). Success today after waiting for six months, I get 0.02 btc for each month. Other than that, I stay focused for signature campaign and trade.

It isn't that common anymore to own 1 whole Bitcoin because of the price being $1,163.94.

I currently own a large amount of the Altcoins and not a single whole Bitcoin lol

Can you elaborate on that? What is the reason to go 100% alt? I can understand some alts are very "dynamic" and exciting and with great potential, but since you've said you hold a large amount of alts, i am curious why not keep at least a small amount in BTC?
It is really not a good idea to have all your balance on altcoins because they are hardly stable and their price keeps changing, I would strongly recommend that you reconsider changing them to bitcoin because not only it’s price is constantly increasing that way you always get profit out of saving it.

I just started months ago, so that is really impossible that I own now a bitcoin unless I buy one, which I won't . Dont have that money to buy one.
You can still get 1 BTC is easy, you just simply convert fiat to bitcoin. but if we do not have that much money it is almost difficult to have 1 BTC now as prices continue to rise. we will be hard to have 1btc if we still use it for daily needs.

if you don't have money to buy bitcoin, then you can find the other ways to have it and i am sure if you are doing the right thing, you can have 1 bitcoin like other members here. i think, we all here which is not own 1 bitcoin is on their way to reach 1 bitcoin with many ways and i am sure that in the end, we all can own 1 bitcoin.

I would be curious to know how much bitcoin the OP here has donated to this forum.

Not even in the ballpark for me as far as owning a whole bitcoin, and it is a sour taste in my mouth to be as impoverished as I am.  These people in signature campaigns must be making a fortune, or at least the ones who live in countries where one's average salary is less than USD $100.  It's interesting to ponder that.  Once again, I missed the boat.
Is that possible to live a comfortable life? I'm living in a country where poverty is rampant but that is not the range of people their to live a comfortable life, in addition, signature campaign does not offer great income for us, it's just a simple reward for using their signature while we are posting with relevant opinion here. Let's not include it as one of our basis to own at least BTC1 as there are more legitimate ways like trading.

Yep, even if I have been losing Bitcoins over time it's still over 1 BTC.
Kind of interested that the amount of people holding over 1 is this low I guess it is a trend as it went higher people sold then it went higher but did not buy back in as much as they had before.
Best ROI: Cold Storage Bitcoins I never touch lol...

I believe that it goes both ways. Some people have one (or multiple) coins while others have none.

Can't really speak for those who have many but I can only say great for them!

For those who don't have, however, it could be because it is just too expensive nowadays and the risk is too high!

Expecting it to go over what it already is would be ludacrous, some would suggest.

almost near to 1 btc. I hope by the end of 2017 I will have solid 1 btc in my wallet because I am doing heavy scale trading on ponzi coin and i hope to make triple of my curreny 0.3 btc to 0.9 btc and rest from signature campaign.
Even with a heavy scale trading on ponzi coins you still need to wait for a very long time to reach 1 BTC. Cheesy i would call that moderate trading and i am sure i could make more than that if i am spending my time on a trading platform and if i get the necessary time then i will make some coins in a couple of months.Having said that i didn't mean to make coins from nothing.
