I don't own any BTC, and i don't plan to for now. I will buy some ~1 year before halving, but that's it. Bitcoin will never go mainstream as a currency. It didn't go by now, after 8 years, it will never go. Some places accept it, but these place won't further use it in their supply chain / buying services / what not. Not to mention these places that do accept BTC, have extremely low BTC volume, since people don't / won't use it as currency even if it is/will be accepted. Remember steam ? It's btc was hacked, and they had like ~20 btc or so after 1 year, and it was much cheaper back then, around or below 400$, as i recall.

yes, I have more 3 bitcoins now and I will hold it for 3 months in the year of 2017.
My hope is that bitcoin will reach 1,500$ and I will sell it for FIAT.
I think the year of 2017 will be a good year for bitcoin.

Wondering how many people are actually afraid of the 1200$ point, as the highest BTC price in  history. I think we can expect 1200-1300$ max this year.

You donated 10 BTC!

Somebody bought a pizza with lots of bitcoin  Embarrassed, let's not count some similar events which if we remember now will make us feel bad. Anyway to stay in topic yes and I'm trying to hold it for a longer time, $1k is a good indicator to hold for a longer time.
Me too I am also holding and I agree with you mate that those 10 btc and pizza stories were bought or spent when the price was appropriate at that time. We cannot consider the price of property in 1900's and now then why we are humiliating the guys who spent btc earlier.

No I don't have one bitcoin
If you want you can donate me Wink Grin
But next year I would almost maybe have one bitcoin

If you really want people to donate you, why don't you provide your bitcoin address? Well, of course no one will actually just give you 1 bitcoin for free, but maybe there will be some small tips for you for a start, who knows?
And once he provides address like that I think it would be considered begging and might get reported. It is quite heart breaking to see guys asking for bitcoins even when they could have easily save the whole year. Anyways I bought some truck loads of bitcoins (at least that's a lot for me what I bought) and I am not yet selling them.

It is so hard for people who are new to bitcoin to get one bitcoin, the ways to earn bitcoin have become not that rewarding like faucets, they were the best way to get bitcoin back in the day when the price was not high.

But, as the time went by they become just a way to spam ads, and for the people who had 1 btc it is hard to get hold of it because they need to spend it at some point.

The more time has been passed the harder it becomes to buy bitcoin because the price is keeping increasing rapidly and seeing the recent price which I'm happy that bitcoin has entered 2017 with 1000 USD but still is not easy for new bitcoiners to hold 1 BTC

If I look around me, people are spending way too much money and they are covered with debt. So I presume most people will answer no to this one.

The online gambling is also taking a huge share of people's Bitcoin income, if you look at the activity levels in the gambling section. I am glad that I

am in a position to hoard some bitcoins, because I bought at the right time and I had the financial discipline not to spend it.  Grin

Unfortunately not but I wish I had. The best or the worst thing is that I could have 1 Bitcoin and even more but I made some wrong decisions. Will try to make this right in 2017. so that this year would be better for me. Collect as much coins as I can is my plan for this year, hope I will make it.

No, cause I gambled a lot. And I cashed out much more then 1 bitcoin. Maybe I`m an idiot cause I didn`t save something on a side, but in this moments I was in desperate need of cash, and if I need to do all over again, probably I would save bitcoins and borrow money from some close people.
But I still earning some bitcoins, I still gamble with bitcoins, so I believe I will have 1 btc again in next few months.

no single coin in my wallet right now because i usually cashing out my btc when i need it and almost never hold btc so far. I hope for next year i can save some percent of my btc and hold them for long time.
But I think this is the worst time to sell bitcoins because you might not be able to buy bitcoins at this price or cheaper price in coming time or even the whole next year. Anyways since it is your need then its fine and good luck mate.

Hope the price gets low for sometime in this year so that you guys can buy back them cheaper.

I don't agree with you,we can't be sure that bitcoins price will only increase. In 2013 bitcoins price was the highest of all time and after thay it's price fall down badly. So in 2017, it could be repeat like before.I think bitcoins price will fall down in the mid of 2017.

I think Bitcoin will not repeat the 2014-2015 downtrend price.  There are more people participating in bitcoin now than before.  More companies are also invovled with bitcoin.  There maybe some correction but it won't fall as bad as before.

I still don't have 1 BTC, I spend some and save some.  Especially this holiday, I almost depleted my BTC savings Smiley, i still plan to save Bitcoin until I get that 1 BTC target.  Smiley

My answer is freaking No . Why? Cause I can't afford to buy one myself . Back in the days . I am buying a small amount of bitcoins only when I have a spare money but having a spare money these days is kind of difficult so my only source of bitcoin right now is signature campaign and freelancing sometimes .

same here dude . as a student and i don't have any other source of income aside from working with signature campaign I couldn't be able to afford buying 1 bitcoin and I wasn't able to save all my earnings these past few months because I need some extra money in order to accommodate some of my expenses .

Considering that you are a 2016 june member I can't blame you, it's getting considerably harder to own even 1 BTC only. I remember when I made my first entire BTC it felt great, not it feels like nothing, next stop is 21 BTC as most people dream about, due the nice appeal of being inside the 1 million club. 21 BTC maybe too much for most people, but 1 BTC is still achievable with hard work and dedication. Anyone that really wants it can make 1 BTC and still be a pioneer in the next decade, where people will kill to own 1.

I do own 1 BTC.

Perhaps, and I used to do trading on MtGox, where I had just over BTC2.25 when that went pair-shaped, hopefully at some point, I'll see some of that released back to me.
Let that go man, it will be easier that way. Its not money that could change your life and you are hurting yourself not letting that go.
Im telling from my own experience, i lost bitcoins on exchange, never looked back.

If you don't currently own 1 BTC, I say make that your goal for 2017.
Remember, most of the world still has no idea what Bitcoin is. Even paying the current price, a few years from now you may still be considered an "early adopter".
All we need is one big website like Amazon to start accepting payments in Bitcoin and a price of $900 will seem like a distant past.

I totally agree with you. Once it discovered by millions and also millennials, it will moons to at least 1 million dollars.

My prediction is at the end of the 2020 it will be more than $1 million.

Majority of the people don't understand how Bitcoin is scarce.
