No i don't have the reasons is because saving bitcoins is not make increasing my bitcoins, more worth one bitcoins become capital for trading altcoins and it will be more than one bitcoins.
Usually with one bitcoins i could got 0.5 BTC every months, for me it is good for pasive income monthly than
Saving it on my cold wallet because by the time the bitcoins will growing much.

You donated 10 BTC!

Yes i did. Unfortunately they were not spent very efficiently : )
Anyways, it wasn't a big deal back then. I believed (and still believe) that currency circulating is important. In my view being only a HODLER doesn't make you a true Bitcoiner.

I second your thought as I believe circulation is needed to push adoption. But at the same time I think that you are free to act that way only if you are rich.
When your total balance is more than hundred bitcoins or more - then you can say: oh, I spent 10 BTC back in the day, it wasn't that much.
But when you are 'entry level; bitconer with less than 1 BTC then spending even fracture of your stash is counterproductive.

It has been a long time since I already hit the 1 BTC milestone. I still remember the day that i went 1+ BTC in my core wallet, it felt great. Now I am aiming towards the 21 BTC dream, which I hope to reach somewhere in 2017, unless Bitcoin goes to 3000+ dollars per coin as it seems it's going to go that way.

I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar

The reasons are simple. At first, I discovered lately the bitcoin world. I knew what bitcoin is but I had no involvement with it. So when I bought the exchange rate was high enough. Secondly, first bitcoins I bought were used to buy some things from an online shop. So, today my balance is no more 0.5 Btc.

They say earn Bitcoin, even the site will claim you earn Bitcoin but reality is what we earn are faucets, and it takes one he'll of a while to convert it into Bitcoin. Thanks to the signature campaign and the awesome giveaways I am getting more satoshi's than usual but again no where even close to a fraction of a Bitcoin. Not all people have Fiat to buy Bitcoin, people like us roll on sites like freebitco.in, moonbit and other for small faucets, and sometimes loose patience but give up and resume the next day. Who wouldn't love to own a Bitcoin, if only Santa could leave a Bitcoin for me this year just saying, it's incredibly difficult for people like me who has no Fiat to buy or relies solely on faucets to earn.

I actually am owning more than 1 Bitcoin for long time. I successfully didn't touch those so far as was waiting for huge increase in price. The rally already has started off so I am just keep holding for another year. Next year with new record prices once Bitcoin succeeds to get the real attention what it deserves.

In reality I do not own this amount at this time because I spent all in 2016 and I had in reward a small experience of how to get this amount and I will explore it for the next year.
I hope that the year 2017 will fill my wallet with bitcoin Grin, and you too Wink

to be honest, I feel sorry when I saw the price of bitcoin is currently very high. Huh

I actually think xdrpx makes a point we should all take notice of.
Most people simply aren't buying Bitcoin because it is of no use to them. They can't spend it at any store so there is no reason to own any other than as an investment, to speculate on the price.

This shows that even though there have been a HUGE increase in the price of Bitcoin, we still have the potential for much more.
If more online stores started accepting Bitcoin payments and it gained mass appeal as a payment option, there is no telling how high the price could go.
People would be saying "remember when Bitcoin was $900" just like they talk about the guy spending 10,000 coins to buy a pizza.

I do own a lot more than 1 BTC, but I did want to answer on behalf of a couple of my friends who didn't own so much. I figured that if I had asked them, I'd have gotten a better answer to this rather than me making assumptions. Their answers mostly related to how they were able to spend Bitcoins outside online websites. Almost a very very hand pickable amount of stores accept Bitcoins where I live and they often are far away (few states away). This is one reason what demotivates them to not purchase Bitcoins. The only motivator for me is the price and the fact that it's decentralized.

Where I live there's not a single place that accepts bitcoins either so the only place to spend coins is online. Luckily there are a couple of places that accept bitcoin and ship to where I live. Hoping that this would change soon.

The answer is no. Not because I don't want to or anything like that. It's just because of my own, mostly bad, decisions including gambling. I have owned several though!

wow this year most of people voted as yes I do minimum 1 bitcoin. I am envy. I don't have even half. Everything because of I manage my bitcoin life as my work. Get it? Every month I cash out everything I have made and that's kind of my salary. My rank raised couple days ago and that's really not bad money for me and my place.

Because I have been using bitcoin on buying things that I need in my everyday life. I still have bitcoin but not 1 bitcoin, I'm converting it to fiat as soon as possible because just like what I have said, I need it. But for now, since the bitcoin's price is keeping on increasing, I'm saving my bitcoin and waiting for its price to reach its peak and that will be the time that I will convert it.

I miss those days.

Haha one thing I miss is the lack of competition. Back then if you launched a new site, pretty much every bitcoiner saw it and visited. Was a great time to be a merchant Cheesy

Now just for dice alone it seems like there are 1000's of them.

Pretty sure the answers would be more than a btc.Considering the amount of signature campaigns ran here last year and the amount of participants paid, everyone participating would have made a btc.
