I have played lotteries before in the past. Not online though, but I actually bought a couple of times in shops.
I never won anything, I thought it was a waste of time and money to continue to keep on buying, so I quit.
I'm not sure as to how online lotteries work, but if anyone got a recommended site, I wouldn't mind checking it out.

Same here. With online lotteries i have a feeling it's more temptating for them to scam us.
The national television lotteries work the same and th erisk is also very less, but at least you see somethign happening by a group of people.

I've only played the euromillions a few times in my lifetime, and overall I'm in profit.... about £5 Tongue

You're profit is not so much but still good because you're not in loss. As all we know it is very difficult for any one to win money from lottery because winning chances are very less and we can't guess the number so easily. Anyway I never brought any lottery so no profit or loss for me.
Being a futuristic person i don't put lotteries and accordingly didn't receive anything from lotteries. In manner to don't addict myself towards lotteries i simply restrict to put them even for fun and suggest it others also.

That's fair enough, I literally just play once a year on my birthday of the prize is crazy like £100million +
Problem with high reward lotteries is that you have very poor chances of winning anything at all. If you buy a ticked of national lottery, the chances of winning the jackpot prize in the it could be harder than ever.
Recently the number of balls in the draw will be increased from 49 to 59, increasing the odds of matching all six balls from one in 14 million to one in 45 million... Good luck with that.

It has different version though like 1-49 , -52 , -55 so on and yeah no changes in your winning chances but if you got it damn hallelujah. A known person of mine got a jackpot in our national lottery years ago at 6 digits out of 55 numbers. In that lottery version here, jackpot are really high. Lottery sometimes giving us a excitement. This is the gambling type that only luck will tell.

Oh yeah of course I understand there is no chance but there comes a point where I'm like eh whatever lets try. Its not like I'm going to worry over loosing £2 Tongue.

I've occasionally played on Euromillions and National Lottery with little success. Same results with Bitcoin raffle games (closest thing to a lottery) what I've played twice.

I won like nothing on regular lottery. Sometimes the price of the ticket back:D But trying some bitcoin lotteries right now.
The chances for you to win a lottery is like 1 in a quadrillion. You might win Bitcoin lottery although the chances are still very low. Smiley

Bitcoin lottery is something new, do you have any good reliable site for this?

Is anyone one here got addicted to lotteries? Shocked If yes, how come? The chances are really low and you don't have to do anything but to wait. No tricks or strategy involved. It's boring overall so how come others got addicted? Huh

Im still betting in our national lottery but Im not addicted. It's just that Im betting when the jackpot prices are pumping up although it seldom happens so still not always.

I play in a monthly lottery (offline), I did win a substantial amount one time, which after calculation gave me 5 years of free playing.

Which is the reason I am playing and will keep playing for a few more years... free of charge ;0

That is brilliant that you had a nice win that allowed you to play for the next five years! I have a family member that got 5 numbers twice within two years, they can also probably play for 5-10 years for free.
That is when I stopped playing after never winning anything myself. After thinking about this while writing I will probably start playing the euros every week again and find a half decent btc provably fair lottery. You never know.

Yes from time to time I buy a lottery ticket. But in 99% of my attempts I lose. I think 2 or 3 times I won around 20 bucks. At least it paid me back my former investment in those lottery ticket + 1 or 2 more.
However my last time I played lottery was around beginning of this year I believe.Since then I haven't tried it again.

I play every year with old year/new year. Never won a substiantial amount of money.
But the experience and the idea starting your year a millionare is nice. Therefore i play every year

Same here. The exact same intention too. It's for fun and yes if you are lucky enough you start the year a millionaire. If you don't win well then you had a nice time with family and friends watching the lottery.
Spending money on this kind of things i no waste I think.

Yes the moment you are together and checking the numbers you get excited and the excitement builds up until 1 by 1 is putting their card down, since they have lost.
In the best case you win, in the worst case you have a good evening with friends.
