Slava Ukraini!
I've only been few weeks last year without paid signature. And then I didn't noticed that I post less. I'm just addicted to Bitcointalk and visiting this forum and making posts here is my daily habbit (or routine sometimes).
But honestly, I wouldn't had made over 6000 posts if there wouldn't be signature campaigns.
But I never try to count how many posts I make each week. I'm just sure that I reach 25 posts limit easy. Sometimes I look at spreadsheet, and I see that I made 26, 30 or sometimes even 40 posts, despite that I get paid just for 25 posts. When I was without paid signature, I'm sure that I was making similar number of posts.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
Currently, I'm building my habit of trying to make good posts (IMO) at least 1 to 3 every day because previously, I wasn't very active in making posts. I've opened several campaigns that are moderated by top managers in the bounties section that on average require for more than 10 posts per week for signature campaigns. Apparently this is still difficult as I thought. Maybe I should cancel my plans to join the signature campaign in the near future.
I just don't wanna suddenly become a spammer here if I wear a signature later (if at this time maybe everyone consider me a spammer, it means to be morethan just a spammer).

Signature instigates post making, that's one of the task to make a profit from registered signature. Apart from your reward in making those posts, it also increases one's merit andrank. That's why the which ever post you make is a means of publicizing the project. And the project managers are after quality posts.you can't wear 2 signatures at a time, but you may try Twitter and facebook for various projects at a time.

Even without yobit, people are here also.  But its obvious that posting can make you earn few satoshis, why not post more after all you get paid by the company that are doing marketing in this forum. These companies are one with using Bitcoin, they are here to help the adoption. They could be into exchanges, gambling and mixing coins they are all into cryptocurrency adoption.

I've never rented a signature on any of the forums where I am active. I use my signature for personal messages, links to my sites, and sometimes I promote services that I use and trust. I would never promote as site that I didn't use just for payment. I'm aware that my signature affects my reputation, and I don't want to entrust that to some possible scam.

you can't get more ironic then this thread. Shocked

Do you have a problem with this topic? Do you understand what is freedom of speech? In fact, this topic is just a normal question, it could be a question from OP, or anyone else. Not important, because we have the freedom to speak, we have the freedom to share our thoughts or questions. From the outset, advertising through signatures is a allowed thing on this forum, as long as we don't go around spamming and promoting something through links or putting shitposting constantly in this forum, everything is still fine, this topic too.

I have said this time and time again.

Lets  go signature free  for a month  or for 3 weeks or for 2 weeks or for 1 week.

Lets look at the results and  plan off of it.

I go a thread  and 90% of the posts on the thread have  a signature  and the thread is

wait for it

   2 do not advertise

I think I speak for a lot of us here, many people are the same. This community brings us together for our shared love of bitcoin.
I'm not so sure about the first part of that, and I would say it would depend on what the maximum number of posts you can get paid for per week, month, or whatever.  If you look at some of the absolute garbage posts that get made here, and there are a lot of them, you can tell that many members are just churning out crap because they're getting paid.  They likely wouldn't even be members of bitcointalk if they weren't in a campaign or bounty.

When I joined the forum, I really didn't know what signature campaigns were though I quickly learned that they were responsible for some of the most idiotic posts I'd ever read on a discussion forum.  My immediate impression of bitcointalk was that it had a very bizarre vibe to it.  Members weren't responding to each others posts, which is usually the case on other forums.  People would give the same answers to questions asked in the OP of a thread without regard to answers that were previously given--it was like robots were writing posts.  Very strange.

Then I figured out what sig campaigns were and it was obvious that those zero-thought posts were done for money.

Since I wasn't referred to bitcointalk and didn't come here to make money, I didn't join a campaign until about nine months after I registered and I only did it because I figured I might as well make a little bitcoin for posting, which I was going to be doing anyway.  I've always enjoyed posting here, and I did learn a lot of things I didn't know about crypto.

But as far as whether I'd be posting less if I wasn't in a campaign, I'm not so sure.  I don't always make the max number of posts per week for Chipmixer, and sometimes I make more.  I'm not here for the money, but it is a nice bonus I'll admit.

Speaking of useless stats, Yobit numbers confirm your suspicion that some users post a lot more after joining a campaign: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptotalk-signature-campaign-participants-2019-11-21-5203176

When Yobit had the last campaign in the spring (the un-moderated one) that turned into a crap show followed by the bans I actually took part in it for the exact reasons I am in one now. I knew I was going to be stuck in the office / onsite working and figured what the heck. I had more posts in 2 weeks then I did in the previous 2 months. I also logged more posts in the bike forum I was on then in all of year before....

I think everyone has a different opinion about your question, but honestly if I use a signature, it will increase the number of my posts each week and may be able to exceed the maximum amount paid on the signature that I follow.

When using signatures, I am used to posting with good quality and might be useful for others. The positive thing I can do is improve the quality of my posts when using signatures.

With or without the signature that I use, I can also post good things so I also have the chance to rank-up because of that. The number of my posts will be smaller when I do not use signatures, this is because I am accustomed to making observations and reporting a large number of useless posts on several boards that I meet and also I read more posts that can improve the quality of my posts in the future.

I'm spending more time on the forum mostly because it is winter and cold AF..

I haven't worn a paid signature in so long that I wouldn't know..
Someone should rent my sig space so we can find out..

I agree with this post.

I will say years and years ago  I went from 350 posts monthly to 450 when I did sign up for a campaign.

But lets face it I post and have always posted and will always post.

I also feed the earnings back into my give away thread's that I ran back in 2014-2016 era.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Although I post more while wearing a paid signature, I post enough at least 2 per day without a paid signature if I remember correctly (since its more than a year now that I'm in a signature camp.).

And I'm almost online here with or without wearing signature, having 210 days total time logged, just reading threads, posts and replies instead of replying.

My posting habit is relatively the same when I have a paid signature on and when I do not. I find topics I am interested in and join the discussion naturally. However, I would make an effort to reach the post quota if I am on a signature campaign.

I tried to do a check with the previous two weeks when I was without a signature, but that coincided with the festive season and I wasn't posting much on the forum due to that.

I am only a student and do not have much of the time to spend in reading and posting in the forum. I do have a lot of homeworks that needs to be done before the due date that is why there is a time that I do not post frequently in the forum.

As of now I am wearing a signature, but I think it did not change my posting behaviour and I am not being pressured to post in order to reach certain quota per day. It just comes naturally whenever there is a thread that attracts my attention.

The good thing about wearing a signature is that you getting paid while you are learning and making friends in the community. I personally treat this as a paid hobby.

I actually applied for a sig campaign in part because I thought "I'm gonna be posting a lot over the next few months because I'll be working on so why not get paid for it and cover some expenses of the aforementioned project". It didn't work out that way so I ended posting less than I expected and probably about the same as my usual average. Now I got into another project so maybe I'll catch up.

I did adjust my posting habits a little bit since joining the campaign: I post long lists of useless stats in the Archival board, and I try to keep some snarky posts under 100 chars so that I don't waste campaign funds on them.

I post in exactly the same quantity with or without a paid signature. My current campaign only requires me to make 25 constructive posts per week & I do a lot more than that.

I enjoy the forum, I love bitcoin (it’s basically made my life). I’d continue to post a lot & just as regularly with or without a paid signature.

Thanks.

If paid signature campaigns were to remove I doubt many will still be posting more than what they are posting without any signature. Let's be real here. Signature campaign is some sort of a boost for members here to post more often since they are paid.

But I'm sure there are still will post even though without campaign since posting here in forum is also a good way of interaction with other people. I have signature too but only needed 10 but I'm always exceed this cause can help myself posting more if I found a good convo or topic to budge in.

Do you know you are going to be spending more time on the forum so you look for a signature?

Full disclosure I am wearing a sig when I post this, I had not had one for a while since the last campaign I was on ended.

I knew I was going to be spending a lot of time at clients over the next few weeks and that I would have a lot of time while was there to post stuff since I am waiting for stuff to happen before I can do the next "job" onsite.

So, I went looking and found a signature campaign. It's kind of like, I am going to be here and posting might as well get paid for it. On the same note when I knew I was going to be posting less and not certain I would be able to post in the gambling sections I left campaign I was in.

I know there are the spam / junk posters on some campaigns that are just bulk but I was wondering how most of the people here in meta felt about it, since it tends to be overall a better group of posters here. (yeah, that's not good English you know what I mean)

The optics of what I see is that when people are wearing sigs they post more. What I can't see is what is the cause and what is the effect.
Just wondering on how it works for all of you.

Note: If paid sigs went away it would not change my posting habits, but as I said, I'm here might as well make a buck.
