In practical application there are alot of DEX that have close to zero liquidity. There are a few exceptions. But for me (as a trader) they are too rigid. It's a cash market only. No leverage, no going short, wide, wide spreads.
And there are about 10 squillion of them.
I am the founder of a token that invests in blockchain start-ups and there was a while there where I was getting notices of 3 ICOs a day, all stating they were the first DEX with one of about 3 features.
It's a huge waste of talent and energy.

I see that you've written an article about this. I will read it with interest. I want to see your viewpoint!

We have just written a blog post on a few of the advantages and disadvantages of centralized and decentralized exchanges:
https://www.cryptowisser.com/centralized-exchanges-vs-decentralized-exchanges/

Do you agree with the conclusions?

Do you prefer centralized or decentralized exchanges?

Happy to hear your thoughts!

All the best,
