the main advantage of etherdelta is it's decentralization ofcourse. thanks to that you can buy/sell literally every ERC20 based token there unlike other exchangers. and don't worry about your private key, etherdelta doesn't store it. as for interface, i agree it isn't perfect but it's pretty common for exchangers. so the biggest minus of etherdelta is gas but i'm ready to pay several gwei more for opportunity to buy/sell every existing shittoken. you won't find half of them somewhere else.

I'm using etherdelta as my exchanger at first i find it difficult to use but now I'm use to it.
It's not that user friendly for some reason i agree with that
I don't see any problem impirting my private key on it because its just like myetherwallet which is decentralized and your the only one responsible for your security because they don't hold your private key for you, so etherdelta have nothing to do on you if you've been scam.
I can say it is somewhat special because of its decentralization.

I don't think it is difficult to input keys, transfer money to exchange and buy or sell tokens. It is actually very easy, it took me 2 minutes to understand how it works.
Also I don't think private keys are at risk since it is decentralized exchange and they are not storing anything, but who knows. So far no complains were made for that exchange.

I do encountered some difficulty on using EtherDelta its really not easy to use if your newbie on this league but where humans we can adapt on anything easily just a matter of time and try. If your using Myethwallet as your online wallet you cant find it difficult to have gas for transaction fees because from the start on making any transaction myetherwallet requires gas to make such treansaction. By using EtherDelta i may say that it is somewhat special because it is decentralized like myetherwallet. They also didn't hold any private information such as private keys for you thats why its safe and have a full control of your key and funds and also you and only you are the one who are responsible on your own security, so being scam and hacked from this exchanger are your own fault.

If you have used myetherwallet before, you wouldn't be complaining about gas because gas is needed everywhere just like a transaction fee in bitcoin.
As a further matter, etherdelta is confising, some users are not able to trade over there mobile, it doen't have mobile version but when you open it on PC, it looks friendly.
The only reason why people like etherdelta is that most new tokens are listed there .
