yes you are going on a right way as saving bitcoin for future purposes is much better than wasting it on enjoying because the main things are those with which the life becomes comfortable and with which the person can enjoy for long term.
i also save bitcoin for future purposes and it does not matter that if you need it then you can fulfill your requirements.

I have my bitoins in kraken, so far so good. I found this on twitter, some strategy that says bitcoin will go up again because it went down to $1,997 or something like that.

What you are saying is true but the same applies that if you are earning good in you day job then you can take bitcoin as investment and what every you earn you can keep it as an investment for your long term dreams to fulfill. but for the users who are not getting sufficient income through day job for them bitcoin earning is like getting freedom from your worries of expenses.

To achieve such goals, a crypto currency can be a good helper, not a major source of income. Bitcoin is expensive and therefore an excellent investment. I also invest in bitcoin for a long time

Looking at the increase in the price of bitcoins its better to save them for future instead of spending them at a moment as even the current price is good to spend but if want to take higher and better benefits from bitcoins then we should save them for a long term as the current growth in bitcoin indicates that bitcoin will achieve much higher price in future so at that point we should have enough amount of bitcoins in our wallet.

I save little by little from the income from the day job. Regularly a very small amount into bitcoin really profit me in the future. I don't have very big plans. My plan is just to have one bitcoin into my wallet before the ongoing year ends.

Alright, For me i save bitcoin because i trust it. I mean that bitcoin price will increase more in the future so, The best strategy for now is to save it, We can spend our really money. so it doesn't mean anything if we spend a lot of bitcoin when we can spend it the equivalent with real money.
This is my main idea about saving my bitcoin.

Yes i agree that if we want to save bitcoin for the future purposes we should trust bitcoin itself. We need also to set goals and to have different way on earning bitcoin. If we set goals we can be more patient in using our bitcoin on other thing such as not important things. If we are going to save we should also know how to earn bitcoin and to continue the part of saving for choosing a proper wallet for our transaction and holding of our bitcoin.
