Yes I do afford to spend them for buying things that I need. But upon seeing the price right now, I'm not going to spend it or buy anything with it.

And that's why the best thing to do right now is just to keep on holding it because we know that price will be increasing again.

That will generate profit to all of us in the future and can give us decent life.

I was speaking in a general sense and not only about bitcoin,but I get your point, while saving bitcoin and to avoid to spend it makes perfect sense sometimes you need to, sometimes for something you really need but sometimes for something you really want.

To spend it or save it is an individual's call and if he is comfortable in spending them then there is nothing wrong in it as by spending he is helping in better economy of bitcoins and saving will give him good results when price of bitcoins will go higher in future so either he can spend at that time or sell it and exchange to fiat.

From my point of view, bitcoin is first a money that I save because I hope that his value will going up for the next years as it is doing now. Then bitcoin will be really interesting.
Furthermore if some countries develop bitcoin, then we could use it to pay lots of thing, without a credit card or cash, just need your phone and that's it.
For now bitcoin is quite fun because it's always cool to have the opportunity to pay a few things with this money a virtual money instead to use real money !

Well it depends on person to person but whatever it is we earn to make sure we live a happy and peaceful life. According to me 10-20% of the people save bitcoin for fun but majority 80% people they have the plan and that's why they are here in the best investment place so they will get the best in return by saving btc.

If you want to have entertainment then you can easily do it by spending fiat currency too why you need bitcoins for entertaining yourself? as bitcoin can be a good investment in future so the right thing would be not to spend them and save it as many as possible.

You're quite right actually, I've noticed that as well. People that have been mining Bitcoin since 2010 or so have mined the coins just for testing purposes and put them somewhere for years. I am pretty sure that the people that lost their Bitcoins because they forgot where they put their wallet wasn't thinking that the price was going to get passed $1,000 per coin.

If the people want Bitcoin in the near future then I would suggest that they hold onto their wallets and not worry about it.

For me only holding them is a very boring process so I will give a try to grow them by doing trades and investments and if luck favors me then I will be growing my bitcoins in really quick time and at the same time it will give me instant profits too as holding will never grow amount of my coins.

believe it or not during my first year in bitcoin I was doing it for pure fun , cause here you can't really buy or cash out bitcoins easily
I was collecting bitcoins from faucets and poker freerolls , then I built a small roll and started playing poker with that money
bitcoin was a replacement of Zynga poker for me

I don't really hold Bitcoin as much as I should. The only reason for me not holding any large amounts of Bitcoins would be because I usually don't have that much stuff that I want to purchase online or offline. Bitcoin is an interesting method to getting cash plus betting on online games, I just don't need to use it as much. If the transaction confirmation issues were fixed then more people would spend Bitcoin frequently. Maybe that will happen one day.

I agree. People have an intention to hold Bitcoin for the long term to earn money. They believe that they prices of Bitcoin is made to increase and so do I. Therefore, they want to hold Bitcoin to earn more money in fiat

Holding bitcoins for the future is the right thing to do as bitcoin is growing and it will be more valuable in future so instead of spending them its better to save them for future as we can earn more money in fiat if we sell them when price will be higher in future and no one will save bitcoin for fun as everyone's main aim is to earn more money from it.
