Yes, of course I have set myself a limit. It is $ 100 per month. This is the maximum amount I can afford to lose.Sometimes even manages to win a good amount.

It is good thinking of setting a limit on a monthly basis compared to daily basis because if you set a limit on a daily basis then you may start gambling every day. Slowly that may make people to addict to these gambling games and once that happen then you may start losing, even more, money on these games. So it is better to set a limit on a monthly basis and if you lose that money then don't gamble for that month.
- Setting a limit on a monthly basis will help us limit the problem of losing more in gambling but that will not be effective in the long run, anyone gambling for a long time will gradually become addicted, we will lose more and break the limits that we set, this is an inevitable thing. We can not stop our desire, more precisely is our greed in gambling, it is our instincts, we need to satisfy it, we refrain it for too long, it will becomes more aggressive and difficult to control, setting limits only help us a certain section but it can not help us forever, it will soon be destroyed by our greed

I don't know about you but I mostly gamble once or twice in a month and I have fixed budget for each time gamble. Even though I lose those coins within few minutes still I will not deposit again to continue gambling. I follow this method for many years and never thought I lost so much money in gambling. I made some profit from sports and lost some in a dice game but I enjoyed my time with these games.

Yes I do, when I'm gamble I usually set myself when I lose twice in a row I'll stop gambling because once I try try to gamble and I lose continuously I lose a lot of money so I limit myself.
Me too. I always set limits to myself because I don't want to get greedy. I do that when I lose because if I continue to gamble I will be losing much more money and that's not really cool. Greed is not allowed to take over me. Greed is dangerous, my friend.

noone want to become a greedy person , but it comes just like that to you whenever you have started to play. so you can't really make sure that you won't get addicted later as gambling would always addictive and leading everyone to have a feeling to become someone who able to get everything what you want , set up a limit wouldn't work no matter what you played. that's the reality of gambling where everything run crossed the limit.
Gambling is an addictive game and indeed it triggers greed inside of a person. Nobody likes to become a victim of suffering and controlled by his emotions but once a person starts playing it becomes difficult for him to stop at the right time.

The basic reason behind such a behavior and thinking of gamblers is that they think it is possible to make money by placing some bets which is definitely very unreal of them.
it would just become useless even you have a good bankroll management , as gambling addiction destroy everything . but yeah at least you have put an effort to avoid things could gone worse , i just think gambling are so destructive so you should be wise on making decision to play there , it's easy to get in but you would struggle to leave .
When addiction hits you then those limits that you set are meant to be destroyed or not would be followed for sure because addiction will really let you push to play even more this is why even you do say that you do have a good bankroll management it would be still useless because no matter how good you are you would still end up on losing everything in the end.
Yeah it would become mean nothing when you prefer to follow your greedy nature instead hold yourself to avoid crazy things in gambling. Addiction work through that way when everything has been decided but then your desire to win more beat it all.

Yes of course! We have to be wise in playing gamble, the division of budget for neccessities and and extra luxury such as gamble maybe, must be set first before putting anything else to uncertainties. For me i always set boundaries of all things sorrounds me, and i will not go on gambling beyond of what is extra on my pocket, because if ever i get lose, i am ready all the time that i didnt sacrifice anything important in life.. what about you?😃

I do. I think it's important to draw a line of money you will invest in cryptocurrency.

It is always advisable to have a limit for yourself in gambling . I would suggest that instead of even gambling invest all those money in cypto currencies where the return will much higher in near future than that of gambling. In gambling losing chances is more than gaining. While this is reverse in cypto currencies if market are good you will gain in short and long term.

MY limit is whatever I am willing to lose on any given night. IT is that simple. You should never bet more than you are willing to lose. Don't bring your credit card so you can't withdraw more cash even if you want to.

For me, it's really hard to set a limit on a monthly basis, I usually set a limit for the day and if I lose my bet I just relax and hope for a win tomorrow. That way I feel so safe and as long as I will be able to always follow my limit, even if I lose I will still have a chance to enjoy gambling even in the long run.
But limiting on a monthly basis I think is better than a day. It's a way to get you even tighter in managing your money, because you can think harder enough to keep the money for a whole month. Manage you to get through the days by gambling with that much money.

It's in order but monthly limits  can further be broken down into weekly and daily limits  so that you don't end up gambling your monthly limit in one day but you will rather have a daily limit set out of the monthly in order to control how you loose or win.

Yes, but with limits. I know it sounds absurd but it is true. It just means I am giving myself some flexibility depending on circumstances. You know in gambling, there are times you reach your max for losses but you continue to allow yourself to gamble because there are strong chances of you winning the next time around. But there are times that it is just too hazy for you to win hence you become stringent with the limitations you set to yourself. I am speaking for all those who are not addicted to gambling but are just into it because of the fleeting feeling of winning and/or losing thereafter. This is for all the level-headed people out there! Cheers to us!

It's not easy following the limits that  we set because most of the time, gamblers don't  go to gamble because they want to spend everything but something out of their wallets but they end up with impulsive gambling because they couldn't follow the limits they set out so for me being self disciplined to be able to know when to start and stop is what is paramount.

Casino pros that write books seem to suggest to put away like a year worth of gambling away, and use one percent as your session.  Interestingly enough poker books, horses, sport bettors and traders seem to suggest something similar.  You loose your session gambling or on a single trade, bet, etc, and you still have 99 sessions/trades to go.  And once you loose the session, walk away and relax from that instance.  But if you are gambling you can't somehow magically expect good profits, its only for fun, expectation of good profits can lead to a gambling problem, playing with sessions helps to prevent tilting on your whole bankroll after loosing a bunch in short period.

It also matters, if you have enough discipline to follow those limits set by yourself because what i've realized is that many are concious of the fact that they don't need to over-spend on gambling but they find themselves doing exactly that because they lack the ability to follow through with their own rules and regulations due to the lack of self control and are often led by emotional feelings they feel during gambling.

When I used to gamble, I set limits since my funds were limited. Thank god for that.

Lol I am pretty sure that even rich people still set limits since they would lose everything they worked so hard for in one evening if they didn't.

Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM
Actually that is one of my technique to avoid a huge loss in palying in gambling. I just set up a particular amount that I should need to spend after that i will stop playing and comeback  next time when I already have capital again. Its important to have some reminders like that to control your spending. Especially in gambling it easy to loss money so if you could just let yourself to play, maybe you will loss all your money.
