The only thing that could help you to control yourself in gambling is if you have self discipline, because if you don't have any, then you are just going to be provoked by the gambling site as always, you can't control your emotions every time you are losing your money in gambling. The problem is huge amount means how big your target? Because if your target is very big then your chances of lose all your winnings and your bankrolls are very high that's why you shouldn't set your winning target very high instead small target like 10 to 30% profit for each session. Sometimes even this target also difficult to reach because before reaching that we may lose our bankroll.

You are right, mate, we should set up limits for ourselves to avoid any kind of greed, because if we didn't set any limits, maybe we found ourselves in troubles. So to avoid thoses problem, we should be smart and don't throw our money.

It's not just easily limiting you with greed, you really need to have to understand how you are going to limit yourself. If you have problems then you need to look out for yourself because it is only you who could fix it yourself. You shouldn't just give away money like that, it's better to go and donate with the right intentions instead of giving more money to the businessmen that doesn't care about other people (not everyone)

I don't believe. Martingale will ruined your limits so how come you can set up limit here?

Also martingale is not effective most of the time so how you can get profit? Easy rules huh.

I always set a limit whenever I gamble. However, the problem is, sometimes I don't follow my own limitation. I enjoy gambling a lot and I think I'm addicted to it. It's true that gambling can be addicting, and I'm aware of the consequences that gambling have. It's really hard to stop whenever I start gambling.

Well I guess its better for you not to start gambling since no matter how you set limits you still end up doing the opposite thing. And as what you said you are aware of what are the consequences that gambling can give you so I guess you know what's the right thing to do.

Of course we need to set up limits to our self not only in gambling but also to all things. Take note “too much is bad”. And as you said gambling is “potential danger” so we really need to limit ourselves being involve to this kind of things. When I say limit, I am talking about the time I am spending in gambling, time thinking about gambling, and most importantly the money I am using in gambling. It is not bad to gamble, it can be our relaxing and enjoying time but not to focus in gambling. If we do not set up limits, we may become addict to it and can’t control our self.

In fact it is too much important to have limit for your bet. because if there is no limit then there are more chances that will lose all your money in no time. if you want to continue playing gambling then you must have limit for your gambling.

Well probably you are a newbie in poker. Did you not know that setting a bankroll is the best strategy to not go bust in the long run. And consistency is better than one time hits.

I don't set limits to my self because i often play poker and i gotta go all in sometimes to bluff or to win the game and maximize my gains. It's high risk high reward strategy so i don't set any limits to myself .

I am not doing that anymore, it's easy to say we can win but in reality we lose more than we win and that is why a lot of people are losing more than they can afford to lose because they always think that they can make money without looking at the risk of losing. As we all know that gambling is #useless #time-killer #entertainment #money #addictive killer #stress-giver so we must definitely put limits to how much we play this game and with how many pennies do we bet. I like those people who cover an extra mile when they are chasing right goals but if someone is wasting time then he must have to be careful about it. I have stopped gambling for ages now.
